I don't know, I guess there's better ways to deal with that situation, rather than telling a 6 year old that they won't braid her dolls hair.

parent gave their daughter and their daughter also bought for herself non brand dolls.
the little girl was invited to go to a brand name doll event where hair stylist would style the dolls' hair but they refused to do it when they saw that the little girl had a "fake" doll
basically humiliated a 1st grade girl cos she couldn't buy a real doll with her money so she was "uncool" "unworthy" etc etc

Seems real enough. If true, the people at the store are real douchenozzles. Although the moms mentality of the 'customer is always right' i dont agree with...
basically, half the article is the mom talking about the 'freudian' effetcs her daughter will suffer because of this little incident
