Electrypnose - Le Tireur De Ficelles

Swiss power!

Full length debut album of unique, unconforming, underground psy ranging from uber dark over eclectic IDM, to melodic and edgy full-power dance music! Best of all, all the tracks are SOLID!

Elend - The Umbersun

Whoa….now this is some evil ____e!! Anyone who thinks that "true" black metal is dark, should seriously take a look at The Umbersun, an album that might very well constitute one of the vilest, darkest (yet romantic and beautiful) pieces of music ever written. This makes Burzum sound like the 'learing-to-count' songs on Sesame Street!! This album is dark. Really dark. Its aggressive, chaotic and generates a suffocating atmosphere of horror and alienation.

Tilting between hauntingly gentle neo-classical and the chaotic, atonal, blaringly loud, serpentine flames and whirlwinds of hell, total mind____ dark madness, there is never a moment when you dont feel the total impact of the music. "Incredible" simply does not due this release any justice.

Perhaps the BEST (neo-) classical release in more than 300 years!

Want to have some fun with this? Stick it in at a party and watch the contortions on the faces of your friends!

Flight Of The Conchords.

For those that have yet to see them or hear their songs, they are funny as hell, esp. when you watch their videos.

Rise Against is cool as hell...AFI is corny, along with other adjectives people get ____y about when they read them.

But I do listen to a lot of Rise Against.

I'm listening to The Pixies right now.

Rise Against are local guys... I remember seeing them play a bowling alley back in the day.

And I still like AFI. Once you've listened to a band for a number of years, it takes a lot to make you stop... their new stuff is still decent.

Bhangra Beatz - V/A

Bhangra can be easily described musically as the "hiphop of the East" without the silly "gangbangin'" or "hood" mentality in the lyrics, plus the artists all actually play real instruments This cd combines newer elctronic sounds (hiphop, house, reggae) without losing the traditional Indian flavor, helping to propel old traditions into a new light.

Infectious and upbeat, for fans of dance music.

Attic Of Love. One of the greatest "undiscovered" bands of out time. Since they never hit it big its hella hard to find their cds.

That's cool that you have liked them for years, I was a fan of theirs about five or six years ago, but the last two or three years they have just been awful to my ear and come across as very full of themselves. Like they are above everyone.

As for Anit-Flag, Against Me!, and Bad Religion...great. Always a fan of them. Especially Against Me!

Raw Dog is my choice, but Blue Collar is good when they're not playing Larry The Cable Guy.
