Default Anyone Use Geico?

I have been shopping around insurance for my fleet. Geico just quoted me about 50% of my renewal quote from Allstate. I shopped around when i bought my car a couple of years ago, allstate was by far the cheapest. I am having a serous to good to be true moment, anyone got anything to say about geico?

Spider,
I have had Geico for awhile now and although I have had nothing to file with them my experience has been rather good. I looked into ALLSTATE many times and the only way I could afford them is if I sold some body parts. I just shopped my Geico policy since it was coming for renewal and I was qouted from another well known carrier over 100 more a month. No thanks I'll stick with Gieco. So IMO I say they are great!

I use Geico. When it was time to renew this last time, I got a really low quote from a different company, like, half of what Geico was charging. I was going to take it, but when I called Geico to cancel my renewal, they beat the other company's quote so that I wouldn't leave them. That was awesome.

Hmmm....what company got so competative?? Maybe I can use that for some more leverage as well!

It was Electric Insurance Company. It's a subsidiary of General Electric.

www.electricinsurance.com

However, Geico never asked for proof of their quote or anything. Heck, they never asked which company I was switching to. Maybe you could BS your way to a better price.

Yeah I will give that a shot. I tried electric just now and they don't write in California. I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the tip!
