it's a figure of speech dude...geez. It's a play on the phrase, "The king is dead. Long live the king!"

Living Legends are the best hip hop artists to never sell any records...lol Nobody listens to them but college kids. I mean they have their moments, but nowhere near the best.

the original list put up was just not even right....
everybody has such different styles...people threw out west coasters(dre,Tupac, game, ras kass, snoop); east coasters(Nas,dipset, wu-tang, BIG,) political/conscious rap(heiroglyphics) south side aka 3rd coast(UGK, Paul Wall) Dirty South ( Lil Boosie, Lil Wayne, Birdman, Juvenile, BG) Ole school hip-hop (humpty, NWA)

theres no way to even begin to say whos the best...it all depends on where the pride of your side is...

Im from texas so really my favorites is all the guys who describe texas in their music..
Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, UGK---Bun B, PimpC,
Big Tuck...but i still jam out to Snoop, Xzibit, Dre, Game, Timbaland, Tupac, Method Man, Nas, Lil Wayne, BG, Rick Ross,

CANT WE aLL GET ALONG!?

^just kiddn had to say it

damn, i cant belive i 4got bout weezy

Lil wayne is by far holdin down the #1 spot right now.
"best rapper alive, since the best rapper retired"

Jay is back, but i think weezy still gonna hold it down.
anybody hear his freestyle over Jay's show me wat u got?
fire!!!!

wayne is nice, smooth, and most important, he consistent.
he will even say some ____ that'll have u thinkin "wow, who says that" lol

so yea, bone and wayne on my list.
i like/listen to a lot, but those are my 2. hate it or love it.

speakin of that, Game is actually steppin his game up. he's more on a flowin status now instead of just "gansta rappin"
