Well Car And Driver tested tires in WET and DRY conditions, last time they did this was 20 years ago! Here are the TOP 10:

I wonder why the only ran the BF Goodrich G-Force KD

My KDW NT's are soooo much better than those, and they only reason they ranked 10th it that they gave up wet traction... which the KDW's resolve...

i dont know much about tire prices, but they probably just tested the ones that most people would beable to afford easily and most commonly use

Hey I'm just relaying the info I saw on tv today lol....

it's car and driver, they always test the best

i should also note they tested them on a bmw 3 series car

I still love my babies.... Best tires for Oregon you can have.... GREAT wet and dry traction and they look amazing...

Hrm I popped a tire 2 nights ago - I think I'm going to get 2 GS-D3s on my car or 4, one of my buddies has a set and swears by them

these are my tires cooper zeon 2xs... not very well known, but amazing nun tha less. These tires perform in the wet like the stockers performed in the dry. After they are warm in dry weather they are simply amazing. Price? they are actually some of the cheapest performance tires you can buy. Got em on sale for like 107 or 114 each. Id say 90-95% the performance of the very best tires in its class for amost half the price.
