To the BOP xB that stopped to help me: Thank You
I just wanted to say thanks to the BOP xB that stopped and helped me yesterday.
I was driving on the Howard Franklin bridge home to Lakeland from Tampa and I got a flat. I pulled over to change it, only to find that my spare was f-ing flat too. I think "no problem, I can just fill up the tire with my tank for my air horn." So I fill up the spare, and it goes flat in about 1 minute. The valve stem was broken. I go to grab my cell to call someone, and it's nowhere to be found. great, im an hour from home, on the side of the road on a BRIDGE with a flat and no spare and no one on the way. and its a LONG walk to either end.
After about 30 minutes of thinking how I could possibly get myself out of this situation, an xB pulls in behind me. He asked if I needed some help seeing as how he saw me when he passed going the other direction about 30 minutes before. I told him about the flat and the spare and the rest of the story. We had a laugh about all the bad luck, and then you know what he did? He opened his hatch, pulled out his spare and said "Here, this ones ok, I'll trade you and then I'll just take the flat one by the dealer and tell them its no good. I'm pretty sure they'll give me a new one." He helped me change my tire and that was it. I gave him a whole hearted thank you and that was that. haha I tried to give him $10 for his trouble, but he wouldn't take it.
just wanted to say thanks to you again jason. I'm sure you all can imagine how much a fellow Scion owner helped me out there.
