Hey everyone..
I was wondering has anyone heard of or know about problems with buying a car from over seas (the UK)... i am currently going to buy a car from someone who moved overseas due to a job. and are selling theyre car because they drive on the otherside of the road in the uk and so on... So i basically have to go through a third party group where i pay the third party and they hold the money til i get the car and wont pay until i get the car and inspect it and am happy with what i paid for... So far ive been sent the title which is registered here in the us and pictures and what not..

any info.. insight.. please let me know what you all think

a scam man, dont buy it. anything that has to do with the UK, just dont trust it. if they write u emails with bad spelling, use wester union, or offer something too good to be true, dont trust it. this is a scam. my brother recently got arrested for stupid stuff like this. we were selling a car on autotrader, and some guy from the UK wanted to buy it/.....he sent money orders, money orders turned out to be fake, and my brother was arrested due to this stupid UK person. my brother had to get a lawyer, and hes out of jail and charges were dropped, but he still has to do community service hours (100) and go to some anti-theft program...so dont trust it man. just lookin out for u even tho i dont know u. take care.

 

Okay.. thanks alot guys.. i appreciate it... the whole buying overseas was sketchy.. i will just keep looking for a car thats still here in the U.S.

 

its the same thing if there from africa too scam you out of your money
