Couple of things to keep in mind with Carfax.

Carfax will only show a record IF an accident was reporterd to insurance and a claim was filed. If someone wrecked and paid to have it fixed...usually there will be no record.

Also, you can run your fingers on the inside of all the jams...hood, truck, doors etc to feel paint lines....trust me you can't miss the feeling.

Why a used tc...usually new is the same price or cheaper??

Let me see if I can decode what you're saying:

"I want a CarFax report but I am not willing to pay the money. If someone here has already purchased unlimited access to CarFax, would you mind running this VIN for me."

Is that right? I mean, you really do have access to the website, just not the money to pay for it.

My Civic had been rear ended with a bent frame and over $6k in damage. It was reported to my insurance and repaired by the dealership. Nothing showed up when people ran carfax on it. I wouldn't trust what they show on their reports.

regardless of his reason for not having done it himself....if someone has unlimited access then go for it...its not all that big of a deal. problem is (lol) he doesnt receive any buyback protection cause he didnt run it himself. my subscription expired back in the middle of february, otherwise id run it for you. just remember...no buyback protection.

^ I really don't care why he's not doing it himself, it was just a confusing way of coming out with what he meant.
