dude i am sorry about your daughter, for what senseiturtle said, which is prolly true. hope you find an answer as a parent. for me being a close age, i feel different about it.

she has gotten help, but look what that's done. its crazy man, seeing someone you care for with scars all over her done by herself and you cant stop it. its annoying.

Maybe he is looking for advice like I am now.....just a thought
asking for help is one thing, but the way its presented is not asking for help

I don't totally understand the whole "cutting" thing, but from my experience with people that did it. They wanted attention and wanted to be people to talk or think about them. So they would cut themselves to receive that attention. Obviously not all of the these people do it for attention, but I am just throwing that out there.

Yeah, my daughter from what I hear is not doing it for attention since she hides it....It was just noticed by a friends mom when she stayed the night there...I dont know what to make of it yet. I know her and her mom arent getting along..... I wonder if its for attention or maybe her friends are doing so she wants to be with the "In club" Idk, but worried about it

My little sister is 15 so I somewhat understand their mindset. My guess would, since she isn't trying to gai attention, she might be depressed or kids in her school are talking about it. Just talking to her and spending time with her might be a good way to go.

It boggles my mind what kids are talking about and doing now, that I couldn't fathom when I was 15, which is only 5 years ago.

I meant like if she wants to go out she can, if she needs me or any other friend no one negates to hang out/talk to her, etc.
