I feel your pain dude, I'm deployed right now and I bought a bunch of stuff for my car and had it delivered to my house. I have two roommates there that can sign for it. They've made multiple attempts to deliver during normal business hours, isn't it logical to try at a later time of day?

Also how do they determine which packages get signed for and which ones get dropped off? I bought a 150 dollar chunk of metal that requires a signature, yet 500$ Tiffany earrings get thrown under a bush???

Well, the company that ships the item decides whether the package should be signed for. SOme companies will give you an option ( like they will add say $1.50 to the order to require a signature upon delivery) but some companies just make the decision for you!!

On another note the I did FINALLY get my header in yesterday...the Fed Ex guy supposedly said there was another 2600 block on my street and left it on some bench at a damn church where it stayed for two days strait without being picked up by anyone....

I left my gate closed one day when I left for work forgetting that I had something coming fedex, came home and it was about 35 feet down my driveway in the middle of it. I had also ordered a coat through the mail that cost me around $250, came home from work ant it was stuffed in my mailbox, needless to say it was barely in there. That's just a couple of my shipping stories.

Glad you got your header, finally. That's on FedEx, not the supplier.

As to old stories. Had a FedEx guy deliver an expensive book to my house, and to keep it safe he opened the gate, closed it, came round the back of the house and stuck it between the screen and patio slider.

When I got home, my neighbor can over, nearly in hysterics, and told me about it. Reason he was laughing is when the FedEx guy fiddled with the sliding screen door, he alerted my dogs, and they came boiling 'round the end of the house.

According to the neighbor, the Fed Ex guy cleared the 5 1/2 foot fence just feet in front of my Dingo and Irish Wolfhound... Bet he didn't even know he could do that.

(He pro'lly shoulda had SOME idea there were large critters back there from the electric wire round the top and bottom of the fence and gate...)
