I already tried that. They really don't look any different except in full sun and then only slightly.

 

pretty cool stuff.. but I agree.. find a way to add some color into it and then clear it to preserve it from fading and wear, etc. I dunno what sort of paint would be good but I think those paint markers would probably hold just fine with a clear coat. Just a idea, keep it up..

If you wanted to preserve it, you could always spray some clear over, then you can clay bar, wax, etc. If I was local I would do it for 'ya.

 

<- take a look at the avatar, thats part of a painting i did. 3'X6'. I actually paint regularly. so there ya go. itd have alot more pics to flaunt but theyre all typically painting bigger than that size. so getting a good picture is hard with my sissy camera, plus like the OP said about himself, im also pretty lazy. AND i have like....well a lot of different project all currently incomplete. hah

yea i missed the part about the hood being junk anyhow, shame on me.

never the less it still takes ***** to go ahead and do something like that and i give you props for that, just next time dont do something so raw and sketchy looking.

what im saying is if the art was cleaner i would have liked it more.
