if you're into the mall/shopping scene,
gotta check out the Fashion Show Mall at the end of the strip.

crazy nice but the mall
has a very confusing set up.

have fun.

My only advice...Sit at a cheap black jack table and safety play the whole time to get free drinks.

Lots to see just walking around. Coaster and other rides at New York, New York and the Stratosphere. If you have a rental car go over to Hoover Dam and take the "hard hat" tour. See a show.

Ok Ok I have lived here almost all my life first of all It is Stratosphere not Stratosfere. And yes it is fun. My suggestion is pick one show you think you will like and ask alot of people like Valet and bell men what ones they like the most. They, meaning the people that work for tips are the most informend people on the srtip. Second if you want to gambel and have a car get off the strip and go to a local casino like Green Valley Ranch or Boulder Station or even The South Coast at the end of Las vegas blvd the tables and slot are more likely to give yau a bigger payout. every thing else that was mentioned is fun but not something that will get you excited to come back over and over.

Now buffets: The best ever is at the Bellagio but it is also expensive, so if you dont want to spend so much their is the world buffet at the Rio.

Sushi: the best is at Hosada in the Luxor

Shows my expertice: My favriote is O at the Belligio but anything from Cirque Du Solie is good also Danny Gans, Bue Man, and Phantom. Stay away from varity shows that seem to copy all the other shows.

If you want more info feel free to PM me

There is a great restaurant at the top of the Rio. Club 51 I believe---great view of the city. They also have a great buffet there.

I've been to vegas a few times and if you have time try to hit up the Ghost Bar at the Palm's. I had a great time there. The only downpart to it is that its expensive to get in and drinks aint exactly cheap. But you will have a great time. And like everyone else says go to the Stratosphere and the roller coater at New York New York. Definitly take pics and see all you can. I hope you enjoy vegas as much as i do !

Well, the Vegas trip was a blast! I wasn't able to read the responses on this thread before we went, but all of you guys are very helpful. And next time we go I know what to do. Click on pic for video.

We did get to see the Blue Man Group, very funny! Stayed at the Luxor inside the Pyramid and ate at the Luxor buffet it was pretty good. Also ate at my favorite sushi place Todai Buffet, awesome! Saw the fountains at the Ballagio and the volcano at the Mirage. Went on the coaster at NY, NY and I won $200 at Circus Circus. Went to the Stratosphere and went on two of the rides. I got video of one of them, before I got in trouble, lol. But my favorite was the Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, never seen such large fish and the sharks were pretty cool! My fiancee and I dropped like 100 bucks at the arcades , definitely alot more fun than losing on the slots. Plus I won two Geneva watches with our tickets, lol.

Yes, lots of walking and we had only 3 days to get as much in. Didn't have a drop of alcohol, and I'm glad. For some reason I couldn't smoke a cig very well, my lungs weren't used to the air. Now I'm back in Washington and can breathe. But no doubt, Vegas was fun!

Things I missed seeing/doing:

Bellagio/Wynn/Rio Buffet
Caeser's Palace
Dolphin Exhibit & other aquarium
Pirate show
Alcohol!
Cirque show
Freemont St.

Well, thanx again for all the good tips!

Drink, that is what I do when I go there. I get pretty pickled. Also ALWAYS tip the ladies bringing you the free booze, if you do they will keep coming back, if you don't kiss your free booze good by.
