Default GPS Enabled Radar and Inferred Detectors

http://www.navigadget.com/index.php/...adar-detector/

These devices, in various forms, perform normal detection of radar and inferred emission used by police around the world. Some of these devices even display speed camera locations.

If there was a technology that constantly updated a network with current locations of patrolling cops and speed traps as they were encountered by other drivers, would this be a marketable technology? Would it be legal?

The passport 9500i is GPS enabled and will record the location of speed traps. It's available here in the US.

But nothing come close to the reliability, range, functionality and performance of a Valentine1. Detection is detection. Navigation is navigation. I don't need my fax machine to make my coffee at the same time...

Most likely not, but it would be much harder to spot, due to the fact that it just looks like GPS.
