how do i get my wii id? i got the wii for a few weeks now and havent really tried to get online or anything.


wii graphics gets killed on my tv even with component cables so i got a ps3. my ps3 id is iamvinhamese if anyone wants to add me as a friend. i only have 3 friends on there )o=

From the channel menu, go to the envelope icon on the bottom right corner. From there there will be three icons in the middle of the screen. Click the right one to open your address book. On the FIRST page, there will be a 16-digit code that says "console code". That's your Wii ID.

I said it in another thread, and I'll say it again. If you bought the Wii looking for graphics that'll beat the PS3's or even the 360's graphics, then you're in for a disappointment. I bought a Wii knowing full well that it wasn't going to be a PS2 killer, let alone a PS3 killer, I bought it because the games *gasp* looked fun to play *double gasp!* I'm not gonna lie, I still want a PS3, but there was no way in hell I was going to shell out that much money on launch day for horrible launch titles and potential bricked units during the first run. We all know Sony's long-running history with first runs of systems that sucked and they never got it right until the third or fourth issue of the same system.

 

I'm not planning on throwing the dough down for a 1080 screen anytime soon, so that's why I'm looking at the Wii. Nintendo also has a history of making games with extreme fun factor, despite the gore and graphics available on the other systems.

 

i know what youre talkin bout scionofPCFL, i have a psps and a ds, and i usually play the ds more, especially the new elite beat agents or whatever its called, it is sssooooooo fun. go nintendo!!!

i bought the wii because i had the gamecube and love nintendo games. i knew the wii wasnt made for graphics since it can only run at 480p with components. wii is all about fun factor and great mutli player games.


already pre ordered mario party 8 and wii play which is suppose to have a game similar to duck hunt.
