so apparently its about drifting now..and from what i saw on the commercial the cars look nice..mediocre plot..but the acting doesnt look so great..what do you guys think?

 

I think the movie looks OK, I'll see it when it hits theaters...

 

I think it's gonna start a new "drifter" scene within the street racers. I don't think it will be a positive drifter scene because very few of them will know how to properly drift and get hurt. It will also lead to "suspension upgrades" that are poor and insufficient for drifting because some manufacturers will try to make bank on the drifter F&F theme with "Fast and Furious: Drift Kits"...etc.

They tried to do the same thing after the first two with speakers, apc lights, exhaust tips, and other things.

I just hope the plot is good with realistic driving unlike when they shifted unnecessarily in 2f2f.

well i wanna go see it with some scion people and when the xB shows on screen we all get up and cheer and go crazy... ____ the poeple off who are watching it hahaha

I'm definitely seeing it and it is the 500th repost bout the film. It's more about supporting fellow azn Justin Lin as well as an introduction of drifting to the mainstream.

I do have to say this will negatively impact the drift scene since noobs will adjust their suspensions and all and attempt to drift while messing up their tires and vehicles. I just hope an idiot won't try that crap around me and hit me or someone else drifting.

I took a drifting class w/ BMW and it's a really tough thing to do for a newcomer. I'll just leave the drifting to the pros and only do it whenever BMW comes back to town each year to teach bout drifting.

Anyway it's a movie and we should all see it just to be entertained and support the XBs in it.
