It is the canon 15mm fisheye f2.8 lens. I love it a lot. Really trying to progress with my photography. Just slow going when u are self taught and self critqued. I don't know most of the techniques for photography other than the rule of thirds. Ha ha

ha ha lucky mfer nothing, i had to work hard for this bad boy. ha ha Sold my Canon 10d for it and saved the rest of the money. Now i have the Canon 5d w/ Canon 24-105mm f4.0 L IS USM lens and love it.

Also have the Canon 15mm f2.8 fisheye lens, lowepro bag that even holds my macbook, UV and circular polarizer for my 24-105, an extra battery, 1gb lexar professional CF card, 512mb lexar professional cf card, and a lens cleaning pen.

Hoping to get a lot better than that i have a lot more time to shoot stuff. Just gotta learn the techniques of shooting,

here is a link to my photobucket that has all my other shots. I am no where near being pro but i think i am atleast way above the average person.

I know a lot of times with canon, I've found they're usually off by about 1 f-stop when it comes to exposure. Do you find that to be true with the 5D? I ask cause I haven't had time to mess with one. Also, what exposure time is need to take indoor shots with the f4.0 lens? Just curious. loving the pics and that fisheye's freakin awesome. Keep it up man!

Elijahtc get more memory dude. 1.5 gig in total will not do for a 12mp size file with the 5D, unless you don't shoot all that much I carry 2x2gig and 1x4gig but I thing if you have 2x2gig you will be cool since your not shooting events and stuff.

goingcarcrazy where did you get the idea that Canon cameras shoot 1 stop over? I have NEVER heard anyone ever say such a thing. Have to accounted for other things that might be an issue. Auto Mode? I dunno.

A Circular Polarizer will make you lose 1 stop an f/4 lens is pretty slow on any camera so indoors is a challenge depending on the circumstances.... I like using my 2.8 and 1.8 lenses for indoors.

Yeah I plan on getting a lexar 4gb card soon. I shoot for the fun of it and not for money so I'm not too worried bout it right now. I clean my card off every time I get done shooting though. They were just the cards I bought when I first got my canon 10d back when cf cards were like $200 for a 1 gig ha ha

I would recommend a fast card for a 4gb. Will make a big diff with file transfers to the PC. Also keep in mind the 2gig cards will have more buffer for when you do multiple shoots. Like if you keep your finger down on the shutter trigger and do 3 shots a second you will get a tad more shots tills the camera stops shooting to save to the card. Dunno why but it's just how it is.

The 5D is not a speed horse though so it's really not a big deal. Must be really nice going from the 10D to the 5D.. I miss my 5D so much now...

Aight I will look into that when I buy my next memory card.

Ah man it is a world of difference going from the 10d to the 5d. The 5d is the camera that I always wanted and never thought I would have. But I could start to tell that I was progressing in my photography so I said to heck with it and figured my camera needed to progress too. I also missed having a full frame sensor and that was my main reason for wanting the 5d. Cause I love wide angle shots. Take a look at my photobucket sometime when u get a chance and lemme know what u think.

What equipment u shooting with?

What I am really wanting to try is HDR photography. I've always loved it and now it is starting to get the style of choice. Ha ha

lol I have plenty of HDR in my site and even more full frame landscapes from my 5D.

You can actually see my gear in the shadow portrait of my main pic on my gallery

When I wash packing a 5D I used mostly the 17-40 4/4 L and the 50mm 1.8. I also carried my xT with the 100-400mm IS f/4 L. I also have a Manfrotto Tripod.

The only time FF does not help me is is the zoom. Why I kept the XT. I also Did allot of Macro so my 100mm was like 160mm with the 1.6 crop...

Yeah I am kinda wanting to get the 75-300 usm lens just to have a zoom lens. The 1.6 crop is nice for that.

I've messed around with quite a few canons (DSLRs and I own an S3IS which is one step down from a DSLR) and found that. Mind you my camera doesn't have an interchangeable lens (I love the 12x optical zoom too much anyway), and it may just be the kit lens that comes with the camera, but it always seems a tad dark, especially in well lit, indoor situations. For instance, my S3IS, for most indoor pics I have to put it on f2.8 (lowest the camera will go unfortunately) with an exposure time of around 1/6-1/10 of a second. Same for the XT and XTi. Of course this is all what I've observed, so to other people it may seem just about right. I would assume with a 5D that everything should be spot on.

hmmm, yeah I have not observed tis issue. At risk of a threadjack Were you using Manual or AP or Auto? If your P&S has IS than I dunno why you would be getting darker photos. That means it's underexposing not overexposing

Yeah I want the is version but I may just have to settle for the usm version right now. After buying the 5d and the fisheye it set me back pretty good. Ha ha plus I usually shoot from my manfrotto tripod if I am using a zoom like that.
