Yeah, sorry about coming in here and busting your thread up, but you're right, it is coming out over underexposed. My iso is usually sitting around 100 or 200 (I've only got 4 choices, 50, 100, 200, and 400). I keep my camera on full manual since I know what conditions I'm shooting in better than the camera. Lets just say I'll be graduating into DSLRs when the XSi finally comes out...or maybe I'll save up for a 5D :D

 

The XSi is out It's got allot going for it... there will be a new 5D this year I think.

 

yeah saw that xsi, its good for a start but if you're looking to ugrade just go ahead and buy a full frame like 5d

 

Idk the xsi and the xti are really good beginner cameras. I do love my 5d tho!!!

i was using the canon 15mm fisheye most of the day yesterday. Some of the portraits are with the 24-105mm f4 L lens.

I really wanted to test out the new fisheye tho. Wanna get used to it and get used to using a prime lens.

 

yeah they're cool but they just get old, screws with my eye, i prefer to just see normal pictures to wideangle / fisheye

 

oh trust me there are gonna be PLENTY more photos where that come from. I just used the fisheye most of the day yesterday cause i didn't wanna carry both lenses with me at the same time and have to swap them out.

 

lol, I love the fish eye but yeah from experience as much as I like to use it most tend to like the more wide angle to normal lens focal length.

yeah i was gonna shoot more with the 24-105 but i had like 4 hours of sleep the night before the show cause i had to put some finsihing touches on my car so i didn't feel like switching lenses and lugging my bag around the show with me.

i love the glass on both lenses tho. Both produce really sharp, clear, colorful photos.
