Default laptop video cards?

im getting a HP 8510P from my school and was wondering what type of gfx card i should get, i was thinking about getting a radeon 9800 but need to know it if would fit and what not, thanks for the help i just dont know a great deal about installing different ____.

video card in laptops pretty much are what they are, they cant easily be replaced unless you realy know what your doing. take a look at this video

thats not bad at all, i have the ssame laptop and already changed the keyboard onces, but so i mean i know somewhat how to do it its just i dont know do i have to buy a specific video card for a specific computer, i just dont understand that part

you have to find out what kind of video card options you have for that specific motherboard. i would be able to help you if it wasa desktop, but i dont know jack about laptops.

alright, i just havnt really messed with laptops' not desktops i wouldnt be worried...

those are the specs if they help at all

no, you need to know what kind of video card is in there now, pci, pci-e etc... then you need to find one that is to your liking that is for mobile use, which is probly not going to be very easy to find, but im not sure. like i said i dont know all that much about laptops, but good luck.

make sure you dont have an integrated video card. you cant upgrade a laptop if it has an integrated card.
