So my lady went to Hawaii yesterday, and she forgot her snorkle gear in the trunk. Luckily for her, I am leaving on Saturday to meet up with her, and I can bring it to her.

Here's the dilema...Her scuba gear is in her trunk...and I only have a valet key (only opens the doors and starts the car).

So here is my question. I haven't even looked at it yet, but I figured I'd check with any of you out in Scionland to see if you have ever tried to get into the trunk of a 99 carolla from the INSIDE or not.

lol - I know...strange request - but I'm serious nontheless. I know it's a long shot but hey...let me know!

umm.. do the rear seats fold down??? can try goin that way if they do...
other than that... no inside trunk release i take it?

 

theres trunk release from the inside.. I have a 99 corolla as well.. seats fold down in the CE edition by accessing it from inside the trunk

 

yeah, it's the VE or whatever the base model is...no fold down seats unfortunately - that would make it just TOO easy.

 

take the back seat out, shouldn't be too hard

 

take a sledge hammer to the rear lock...that should work

 

heck, take a pick axe to the trunk
