Yup. Pretty well cinched.

(Watching the incredible crowd at Grant Park on TV, that still seems to be growing.)

Well all of us on here and in this country has the right to his or her opinion. We can agree to disagree on somethings. Lets just be thankful that we do have the right to vote for the leader of our country. Not every nation enjoys that privilage

OK, pumped the bilges once again, and mopped up a bit - watch the floors, they're still a bit wet...

Once again, folks, political "discussion" or "argument" can take place in any of the other half dozen political topics, BUT NOT THIS ONE.

Anyone NOT understand that, ask me.

("Freedom of Speech" is not a term that applies to any private site that allows posting by members. The US First Amendment only applies to not allowing the US government to censor most speech. As soon as you step into a private site like this, you are in someone else's livingroom or office, not in a public space, and the owner - the person paying the bills - can set any rules they want and a poster can either agree or leave. No problem, but just trying to correct an all too common error of perception about the internet. Also note that if any site is not in the US, the rules can change drastically...)

Putting this back in service...

My next thread is going to be about how I feel about setting preconditions in a post as to what people can talk about. But I'm also going to set a precondition for that post stating that NO moderator, or the author of this post, is allowed to defend themselves. They make speak, but not about the topic at hand.

LOL

Well now as Americans we all need to stand behind our soon to be new President. The future of America is here.Time for us all to remember working together is a lot better than fighting over simple disagreement.

I do not get to vote as I am a Felon........so thankyou for those that did and made your voices heard......whether you voted for McCain or Obama.......good job on exercising your rights that were long fought for......

Well, the election is over and to save any more problems with folks not being able to play nicely, I'm locking this topic.

Thank you, Don, for starting it and setting the rules for this particular topic, and thank you to everyone who participated and followed the stated rules.

(To those who could not bring themselves to play nicely, be happy that I just made posts vanish and didn't warn folks.)
