well, i'm curious if anyone has found something like that. i always wonder who's checking out my page and was wondering if anyone here knows something that i don't. all the ones i've seen so far ar crap or scams to get your password.

 

the only way for them to work is you install a cookie on your machine(by "installing" it on your own myspace page) and that is picked up by people with the program installed on their myspace page.

so you can only track people who essentially want to be, by installing that same program on your machine.

that is it, the only current way it's being done. trakzor works like this. it sucks, because you have to install it on your page, then you can only detect people who have installed it on their too.

i actually put that on my page this morning. someone pmed me so i gave it a shot.

 

it works. but it sucks, because again, it's based off their cookies which shows their log in name to myspace.

 

i'm surprised no one has come up with something that shows you who is checking your page. i wouldn't want like a name and address or anything, but at least their myspace info.

 

they have, it's called trakzor.

if you want something to check only the cookies that myspace makes, and provide you with their myspace info based only on that. Only myspace can do that. reading the info from 3rd party cookies isn't permited.

 

according to traksor i've been checked out twice already but it's like a big tease because you still don't know exactly who was checking. whatever. better than nothing i guess.

 

with trakzor, if it actually identifies someone, you get their myspace name and icon(you'll see). all the other hits where it shows 'city' are only known because of their ip address.
