new interior mod. reduced times, greatly!!!
I see the handicapp spots as a need for those who NEED to park closer or have the added space for wheelchair accesibility.
I am not saying it is wrong BUT, lets look at the blind example above.
A person is blind and needs to go to the mall. They have the ability to navigate from the parking spot up front to the mall and then around the mall. Why does it matter where that parking spot is? Does that person using that handicapp spot make it easier for them on a handicapp side of it? Or is it just a closer spot? Could they have parked 10 spaces down and still navigate from the spot to the mall and around?
Now lets look at a person in a wheelchair. they pull into a handicapp spot, putt the ramp down exit the vehicle then navigate to the mall and around. Not a problem.
Now they arrive and the handicapp spots are full, they park in a normal spot and realize that its not wide enough and the ramp cant be oppened. They leave the mall unable to exit their vehicle.
That example shows, the person in the wheel chair NEEDS a handcapp sticker to go to the mall.
Does the blind person "NEED" the handicapp sticker to go to the mall?

I like discussion, I just dont like how this thread started off with the OP showing off a handicapp sticker and bragging about how it reduces parking time. THATS NOT THE POINT OF A HANDICAPP PERMI!!

my friend had a handicapped father who actually had bumper stickers made up that said "stupidity may be a handicap, but it does not entitle you to this spot."
If he saw someone park in a handicapped spot, and that person was obviously not handicapped, he would actually slap one on their bumper. True story. Not sayin I agree with vandalism, but sometimes its nice to see someone get what they deserve... and I'm not saying that chrischoi deserves that either, I don't know his situation... I just think it's a funny story.
