So the Seahawks acquired Deion Branch. It'd be nice if Holmgren tries using four receivers. That'd be fun; Burleson, Engram, D-Jack, and now Branch. As long as Jones can protect Hasselbeck, he can throw to just about anyone.

I am from AZ and was lucky enough to go to the cards Seahawks game in Seattle. The Seahawks look solid and they have some great fans. Playoffs will be fun to watch this year.

BTW TO is a specimen no doubt.

Dude, disappointments???? I'm a lifetime Falcons fan, born and raised in Atlanta. That's disappointment. I was able to attend the game Monday night with some of Keith Brookings family and sat in his suite with them, after the game we went down to the locker room and when he came out he apologized to me for not winning. I couldn't believe it, all I could say is you do the best with what you have to work with. Then the next day Petrino quits....us Falcon fans are having a hard time this year.

Sounds like an Eagles fan to me... I'd love to see the Eagles lose to the Dolphins, then hear McNabb crying about it because "It's hard to be a black leader in the NFL" .

Im disappointed with St. Louis (my team). true they're not as good as before, but c'mon. Should have at least been better 3-9.

Too many injuries thats the thing, and poor "d".

the vick family is stupid, so much talent, no common sense. marcus was the first let down in college, i though michael was going to be smarter--apparently not.

me?? I hate no one, but i do have strong dislikes. rogers did nice, prob would have won it if they didn't have to come from behind. favre gave them a gift with those two int's. i'm just hoping they change the whole nfl on thrus only to a select group of folks that paid for it, cause that's wiz-ack.

sorry but they wouldn't have won either way. Now Green Bay is already thinking Rogers is gonna be another Tony Romo. Good luck there

we'll see come playoffs, that the truth right there.

and Rogers the next Romo?? Whatever. Romo still has a lot to prove. He's had ONE great season, you make him seem like he's been around for a long while. I don't put him up there with the greats, shoot most QBs can do what he does with receivers and a backfield like that. He hasn't proven himself to be a star QB w/o his arsenal of weapons. An let's not forget who Romo looks up to....Try B.Farve.

Romo must prove to you he can do it without his all-star cast? Why don't you enlighten all of us when Brett Favre ever thrived when he didn't have TWO pro-bowl receivers and a pro-bowl TE (Antonio Freeman and Robert Brooks and Mark Chumura) to throw to or a pro-bowl back (Ahmann Green) to bail him out, or a championship defense with Darren Sharper, Reggie White, LeRoy Butler, Santana Dotson? God, those Packer teams could have finished that decade with two or even three titles. The past few years Brett Favre really struggled to keep his own head above water when the talent dropped off.

What is it about going after all of those stats and records that leaves a quarterback almost nothing to show for it. Bret Favre's whole 'gunslinger' mentality will be his epitaph in Canton but its the reason he'll end his career with only one ring. Marino did just as much in fewer years with abhorrently less talent.

As far as resurrecting his career at 40 well, I think the Dallas game showed everyone how Brett's old bones are going to handle a serious pass rush. Watching him have to torque his entire body to get those passes off at the same MPH these days is fun, but for the most part, painful.

^couldn't have said it better myself. Romo has already broken records in his first career full season. He sat patiently on the bench for 4 seasons before getting to show what he has and he's been brilliant ever since. A great quarterback is a great quarterback no matter what. Receivers don't make great quarterbacks.

i'll give credit to the fact that favre is one of the greats, awesome guy.

but you can't win games by just having a damn good qb. team game come on now, football 101.
And I think romo proved many things already. Now all that is left is that he stay consistent, and that'll be shown in time.

One things for sure...Jan 5th is when the fun begins.
