Well now we're into semantics. I say a lot, you say a lot, but you're a lot may be a lot more or a lot less than my a lot. Unfortunately, my understanding of what I'm saying has declined a lot.

Ironically, I'm a little f*cked up right now (not high) in the marijuana thread.

The topic has been getting a lot of press lately on the various news channels. I think the discussion will be getting much more of a serious look at reforming national laws and polices regarding legalizing marijuana, especially after California takes a lead and then the nation follows suit. Not to mention the Obama administration naming their new Drug Czar Seattle Police Chief Gil Kerlikowske. We all now how pot friendly Seattle is as well. Sooooo....... We will see in the next year or two I would imagine. follow the links on page 1 to read more.

lol how is marijuana less lethal then alcohol? If anything, its more lethal. You inhale smoke, that can lead to lung cancer..and from the last time I checked, there is no cure for lung cancer. Plus marijuana has negative long term effects..along with making you feel slow

^^maybe because there are more consumption of alcohol? Did you think of that?? You can go to your nearest gas station, local market, and even seven eleven and pick up a bottle of Budweiser. And liver problems can be cured with what they call, a liver transplant. However you cant transplant a new lung.

Im pretty sure the majority of Americans have not smoked marijuana and do not plan on smoking marijuana. Any who, Marijuana isnt cheap to start out with. You pay a dub for a medium size nugget that would keep you high maybe for a day at the most and thats equivalent to 1 1/2 of a blunt. Yea the demand for weed might skyrocket but by then no one will have any more money to buy the weed and other businesses will collapsed because everyone is a drug addict.

Can't directly compare alcohol and marijuana.

Marijuana would have the typical smoking-type of pathology, such as cancer, cancer, and more cancer. Peripheral vasculopathy, weight affects, reduced immunity, etc.... Though, it's extremely tough to prove, as many marijuana smokers also smoke cigarettes.

Alcohol is unbelievably toxic in higher amounts, and the effects of which are well-documented. More people drink alcohol, so it's completely understandable that "more people would die" from it. Combine the fact that you cannot get a liver transplant if you're still drinking, and medicare/aid will not cover your medical bills... then the numbers of deaths skyrocket. In addition, delerium tremens can actually kill you.

Marijuana is none the less harmful in many ways. Any thing other then air that goes into your lungs is harmful and lethal. Like I said before, you only have one pair of lungs and you can not replace them. DUI not only stands for drunk drivers but can stand for drug use. Marijuana can make you sleepy and drowsy..similar affects to alcohol. What you said about weed being hard to prove because other variables like cigarettes come into play is not entirely true. You can get a person who has never smoked cigarettes and test the negative affects of weed. Simple as that.

I haven't smoked for over two years now and I am still fully in support of the decriminalization of Cannibus. Have you guys been watching whats happening right on the other side of the boarder? People are getting beheaded because Drug Cartels are making bank off of mary jane. Decriminalizing the drug would reduce violence in mexico and southern states and would bring in money to help lessen the national debt. Also guess what the biggest reason for people getting jailed in the US? Weed. Yes a weed if caught with more than three time could make you eligible for a life time in your local penitentiary. Saying that I don't condone smoking weed because it makes people really boring to be around and it has changed too many of my friends. But people should make there own decisions not the government.

hahaha your funny, I live in Chicago and believe me I have seen more weed then you ever will in your entire life of living. From dro to blue berry crush. I smoked weed since 8th grade to senior year. I personally know the negative affects and I would not recommend weed to anyone else. It firmly effects you and I am glad to say that I have stopped. The reason why LA sucks in clean air is because it doesnt rain much over there.

haha dro and blue berry crush is consider reg? hmm..I highly doubt that. Considering Dro is like premium weed grown in water. You go on smoking all the kush you want, when it comes down to you starting a family and being responsible, I doubt your going to still be smoking, let alone let your son have second hand. And this makes me think if they were to ever legalize weed, would it be for everyone or would there be an age limit? If so why?
