I've read some of the dumbest most ignorant crap ive ever heard on this thread. So he is black and hes the president get over it.
He has the right to believe what ever religion he wants. His right as an american.
He didnt cheat his way into office (like GWB). Everyone is ready to have another white man in office, no matter what his policies are, simply because hes republican or white.
I am not racist. I am very open minded. I am hopeful for a future with obama, not because he will be the best president ever, not because he has all the answers. Simply because he is trying to bring change to a country that is dying slowly but surely.
We want to talk about him being a socialist or whatever, how about our totalitarian government that our votes dont truly count towards who our president is. How about a president who cheated his way into office, then got reelected simply to f it up more.
My post may be jumbled or incoherent to some, im at work so forgive me. But as an american all of you should be hopeful for a new future, some change, because change is good. And by voting in the same old tired white men every 4 years has gotten us no where but deeper into debt, poverty and hated by the rest of the world. I think.. I know, its time for a change in this country, a big one. Obama may not be the solution to all of our issues, but at least hes trying. A small start is better than no start. Ignorance runs rampant and sometimes everyone needs to just get over themselves for 5 minutes and use their brain without religion, fear or hate influencing their thoughts. You would be amazed at how simple it is if we all just work together, set aside differnce and compromise on a solution that benefits the world instead of rich/poor/middle class.
I voted obama cuz i bust my ___ everyday to try to get my stereo/alarm shop back on its feet so i can get more hours. But to no avail the economy is just to screwed up to have that happen. We even had to close the shop one day a week to stay afloat
I hope to god obama can do something or figure something out (maybe end a war with no exit strategy that costs us millions.. or billions every month?) and some money could come back to the american people instead of blowing up camels.
