Please note that the perception of your general intelligence hinges on obeying this, but can be remedied by not blindly parroting the views and inane bile spouted by neo-conservative commentators.

i'm not posting anyone's views but my own. i can think for myself and will post things that i agree with.

regardless of what the author of those cartoons posted or said previously (i don't even know who the author is, nor do i care) i agree with those i posted. there were many others i didn't agree with and didn't post. there were many more i did agree with but opted not to post because the general SL population would get their panties in a bunch

unlike most, not all, but most obama voters, i can think for myself. i can see past the empty promises. when he fails to live up to everything he's promised, don't blame it on someone else

Glenn Beck. tC_andy07 posted a video from him earlier. http://mediamatters.org/items/200706290010 did an article on it; apparently he didn't say it's a good idea, just read out the ad which subscribers of his website made - saying "it's bad", and then featured it on his website.

No, see, you think you can see past what you think are empty promises. Why you think you're better than most, not all, but most of Obama's supporters, because of your brilliantly speculative suppositions... well, I don't know. True, some Obama supporters were hooked just from the word "change", but you were hooked just from the word "socialist", so I'd be careful comparing yourself to them.

it may just be me... but im pretty sure that all presidents in the past have lied, swindled and in one way or another didnt live up to their promise. all im trying to say is give the guy a chance! he cant do any worse than all the others have done and he is at least trying to make a difference. every president increases taxes, i dare you to show me one president in the history of the country who did not raise them in some way or another. at least obama straight out said he was going to raise them instead lying and backpeddling around the subject like most.

In all honesty Obama will not be able to fulfill a lot of his promises. And it's not buy any fault of his own. It's our current economic situation. He is gaining more national debt than any other president in history.

I personally would've loved to hear the questions Mr. Obama was asking when he was briefed on the specifics on the current state of Iraq. There are so many case-sensitive matters that are unknown to Americans. I doubt he will be able to end the war. I don't care whether we end the war or not. I just want to see another country have the same opportunities we have, but in saying that let me say that I don't think we should've gone there Unconstitutionally like we did. Unfortunately, BOTH sides are to blame for the war we are in. As Americans we need to continue to put pressure on the powers that be to enforce our Constitution and laws, not change them as they see fit. Also, every person (whether they are a politician or not) needs to remind themselves daily that they are accountable for themselves and if they do something wrong it is their fault. We have free will, but with free will comes consequences. If you can't handle the consequences for te action you are about to partake in don't do it!
