Yes and no..I just see them as 2 political candidates, nothing more. It's McCain that I see differently. The thing with Obama, is more than him being black. If the nation wasn't ready for an African president, then what's the deal with the insane amount of support he has? The racism in this country isn't towards blacks anymore, it's towards any Middle Easterner/Muslim (talking about the majority, of course).

hmm, you have a point. But i just dont see Obama winning even with the support he has. Could he do the job as well as others? Sure, absolutely. But americans (in general) are so damn narrow minded, i just cant see him actually going into office. Maybe im wrong, it would be nice to see the states having an open mind for a change.

McCain is insane and on that note thats all im saying.

The problem with the general population of america is, well, they generalize everything. Oh well these middle easterns destroyed ______ and ______ therefore all must be bad! Well no your wrong.

Bottom line is this, whoever wins no matter who goes into office, they have a HUGE job ahead of them.

O.T: Did you see top ground gear force? Hilarious, i know its not a new episode but i cried laughing. Your Clarkson photo made me think of it.

^ All, I know, is if McCain wins...I'm moving to Canada. Our economy is so f'd right now, and we owe the Bush Administration thanks for destroying our social security.

No, I didn't see the episodes...I gotta get my hands on the entire collection of episodes. I even thought about buying a PAL or region free DVD player just for Top Gear.

Norway . Too bad they've pretty much closed the borders. Guess it's a good thing, when you're the best in the world, might as well not let the Americans ruin it .

Americans do ruin quite a bit. Look what theyve done to British tv, beer, liquor, cigarettes, (usa gold um..fail) cars (id like to go beyond a straight line thank you) and lets not forget politics!!! lmfao

Actually America is great at politics, its just a shame the politicians cant fix the areas in the country that need fixing..
Got to go to work now, haha.

What we need to fix, is this mentality that 95% of people over the age of 50 see as "America is #1!". We're like 13th in education, last in economy (third world countries bring in more than $-25 billion a month)...and the list goes on. It's just farking sad.

Its not just the people over the age of 50...its the young ones too who are brain washed from birth and the minds blocked with Red white and blue along with religion.....What we need is more and more people to ask questions. People need to learn how to ask questions again....remember when you were a kid and if there was something that you didnt understand and you would ask your parents "why" and there response would be..."well it just is"....Thats what our Govt is doing to its citizens now. Go on with your lives, look as if nothing is wrong, everything is under control. And if you ask questions..."well then you just might be a terrorist and we will inforce the Patriot Act" ...
Ha reminds me of something that George Carlin said

The problem is people dont ask or stand up because they are afraid to. Well partially, than you have the brainwashed population as spoken about above.

The most important thing we need above questions and answers is actions. There have been too many leaders in the country that say they will do things about specific problems but fail to live up to what they talk about. We need someone that is just going say look, this how it is this is what im DOING or IN PROCESS OF doing to fix it. Not this is what i plan to do before making plans of action, etc etc.

But of course to get to that level you need enough people asking why things havent been getting done or why things have been neglected. And honestly at the end of the day it boils down to money and power. But that will only last so long as if everything keeps going the way it is, the economy will be very questionable very shortly. Which will ruin that frame of mind, money and power.

Another problem is our leaders will not admit to their mistakes so they can fix it, they are too proud. Of course, if they admit they are wrong they will lose popularity but when your in charge of a nation, its your responsibilty to do whats in favor of all not just a select number of people.

No matter what though, i dont see any of this happening with bush in office. After that, who knows. I guess it will depend on ego and the will to want to fix things. Its going to go one way or another without much of a grey area to turn to.
