LMAO! Did you see where it says that some creationists maintain dinosaurs would have needed more than 20% oxygen cause they are bigger entities!?

If someone can create the earth/universe, that person could make the flood happen.

What if "the entire earth" mean the entire habited earth? Humans would be in a relitively small location right?

This is directed towards Evolutionists mainly, but I would like to hear from creationists too:

Do you believe in UFOs? By UFO, I dont mean secret military aircraft, I mean Aliens.

Krusty, the bible made interpreting this flood to coincide with today's scientific standards quite difficult when it said something to the effect of "the water covered the highest mountain".

I definitely think that there is other life out there.

:sheepishly admits: I'm a big stargate fan. Pretty much any science fiction is cool to me.

To the best of my knowledge we don't have the technology to even see another sun much less travel to where there might be one.

From a biblical standpoint, I dont see how their could be. God would of said, oh btw, I created some other creatures over there.

I just wondered what Evolutionists thought about the subject. Have you ever known/talked to a creationist that believed in UFOs?

ok, if we're pretending cro-magnum man, homo erectus and ALL other primitive humanoids fossils are hoaxes and the earth is only as old as the bible says...

according to the bible, adam lived no more than about 6,000 years ago. (remember bible geeks, the lineage from adam to jesus is written 5 times)

mayans lived in south america 6,000 years ago, and there are fossils of homo-sapiens found in southern africa, australia and new guinea from the same time period as well. then another 1000 years go by, and THEN the flood happens.

but to have water be between 16,000ft and 29,000ft higher than sea level anywhere on the planet, and obviously water is going to be atleast 90% that in other areas.

But you're first statement "If someone can create the earth/universe, that person could make the flood happen." negates talking about anything, because anytime science proves what you intrepret the bible says, MAGIC, i mean GOD, is the reason.

it doesn't matter to you if your bible is a lie/false? even 1 thing in your bible being 100% false/a lie, negates the bible being the "word of god" right?

If the book you derive your faith from turns out to be a lie, then how could you hold your religion as truth?

How many FULL skeletons have the found of cro magnum man, homo erectus have been found?

Im not saying they are fake ok? Honest Question. It is my understanding that very few fossils have been found, and most of them are a bone here, a rib bone there. Am I wrong?

Does the bible mention saturn? Did god say oh btw I made this other dope *ss planet with a ring around it? No. So why is it impossible that he omitted other things? From a biblical standpoint of course. From a standpoint based in this reality I am pretty sure that they didn't have the technology to see other planets so they didn't know about them so they weren't in the bible.

Prove to me that the Bible is a lie. PROVE to me that there is no God. Prove to me that a couple of guys thousands of years ago, thought it would be funny to write a bible, that happens to be extremly accurate (round earth, heavens, health. I guess you guys can claim all that is taken out of context) was made up by a bunch of guys in the middle east.

what understanding? seriously, if you don't actively look up science, all you're going to be subjected to is if you randomly surf the t.v. channels at home and chance upon a show about it.

the answer is there have been hundreds of full skeletons of humanoids other than homo-sapien. cromagnum, neanderthal, homoerectus, etc...

there are thousands of pieces from non homosapien skeletons, but having a full skeleton minus a few vertebrae or pinky toe does not negate the skeletong being real, right?

WOW... someone help me out here... the bible only mentions the sun, moon and stars. Obviously those are all things that are easy to see with the naked eye... So if god worked his butt off making this universe why didn't he mention the planets he created? Hmmm... Maybe god didn't have a telescope either!

You can only prove something is, not that something isn't. if you knew about the scientific method, i'm sure you'd know that.

but as far as proving a couple of guys wrote the bible, if we both studied literature and authorship, we'd both be able to recognise that there were multiple authors in the first 5 books of the bible.

But here's the thing, if you don't even know the concepts aobut physics, science, biology or literature that we're talking about, we'd have a whole bunch of teaching you things to even understand.

It's like me saying, prove to me the revolutionary war happened, but btw, I'm not going to read abuot history, take accounts of what other people wrote. I'm just waiting for a magical "piece of evidence" that without studying anything at all, makes me realise what I'm seeing as truth.

krusty, what happened to you man? you're really reaching. I know ppl don't like to admit defeat, but now you're just not making sense. Quit with the "I don't know, but I believe anyway" talk. Tell us what you do think abuot a certain situation.

I'm off work but I am hoping somebody will tell me by tomorrow either where the bible mentions other planets or why it was omitted. Hint: Not known to humanity at the time of bible=not in bible
