that's why vegans are going to hell, they deny god's gifts.
Haha, I know you were kidding but for anyone who would give that answer...
Why bother with food that must result in a life being taken? Why not a great tasting food abundant in all countries? He could have made the earth edible and regenerative. Oh, no wait, that's right we eat animals as a result of "survival of the fittest".

Since this went off topic on the first couple pages I don't feel bad about changing the topic.
I was hoping one of you science whizes could help me. Why is it that when a black and white person mate the baby is a mixture of the color but when someone with blue eyes mates with someone of brown eyes it does not result in a mixture of color? Also, if globalization continues at it's current rate will everybody be brown with slightly slanted eyes in a 1,000,000 years (theoretically of course)?

Carbon dating seems to have some pretty big problems though. If the atmosphere was different before the flood (you have to admit, that if the earth was covered in a water canopy, Most UV rays wouldn't of made it to the earth, and would of made a big difference in c14 degradation (sp?) wouldn't it?) that would make stuff appear a lot older than it was.
As for carbon dating inanimate stuff (rocks), how do they even test that? Rocks have c14?
I read some of that christiananswer website thing and I realized a couple things...
1. Notice how few scriptures that they reference? They mainly just talk about obsure tales from different areas around the earth.
2. What makes a dinosaur a dinosaur? If all the dinosaurs existed today, don't you think some animals, like crocodiles, alligators, and lizards be considered the same as dinosaurs? This is just pure speculation, but it makes a little sense to me, but thats just me, and I'm sure someone will violently disagree with me.
Dave, the truth is, I can't prove to you without a shadow of a doubt that the flood happened. I believe it. Why is a global flood happening that much harder to believe than non living matter evolving the basic proteins needed for life, and then turning into living matter?

True or false? the bible says the flood covered all the mountains of the world for 40 days.
ok, everest is 29,000 feet taller than sea level right? you can say yes.
you are aware how close 215 is to 29,000, right? I now you were required to take math through at least elementary school.
Look, I couldn't prove to you aobut the flood not being able to happen if it fell into your "days of creation" alternate dimension, but it didn't and the bible writes it's lineage from adam to noah to moses to abraham to king david to jesus, multiple times in the bible.

I've said for the flood to happen, the mountains must of been lower than they are today.
And forgive me for I am but a infidel, but what are you saying in your last paragraph? What does the lineage from adam to noah etc... have to do with what we are talking about now? For some reason, I just don't understand what you are trying to get me to understand.

The point Dave is trying to make is that, and let me be clear:
THERE IS NOT ENOUGH VIABLE WATER ON THE PLANET EARTH IN ANY FORM, BE IT GAS, LIQUID, OR SOLID, TO COVER EVERY SQUARE INCH OF LAND.
Theres not even enough water to cover most ( 50%+) of the earth.
You could take all of the water from the polar ice caps on mars and add it to the equation on earth and you would still not have enough water to flood the whole earth. It is a not possible.
This is not a difficult concept to understand.
Just use logic or whatever to show it COULD have happened even
And what is this "water canopy" nonsense? Are we talking about the water vapor created by the ocean near the landing boiling insantly, and the millions of tons of splash that launched itself into orbit fro the asteroid landing or something?

Generally speaking blue eyes and blond hair are recessive as is green eyes. Strange anomalies do occur though. In my family there is four boys and two girls. My father and my mother (both brown hair and brown eyes) had me and my older brother. We are both blond haired blue eyed. My mother and my stepfather (black hair brown eyes) had my little half brother (blond hair blue eyes) and my little half sister (brown hair brown eyes). My father and my stepmother (I can't remember her attributes, sadly) had my other little half brother and little half sister (both blond hair blue eyes). It seems very odd to me that all the boys, regardless of mother/father pairings. We all look similar too. Our eyes, however are all varying degrees of brightness. My older brother is deep blue, mine steely blue, and my little brothers almost gray. So there is probably a quantitative aspect to eye coloring, but it is far less dramatic than skin pigmentation.
