I wish people cared enough about their kids to instill in their children Christian values. The world would be a better place.
"Instilling Christian values" is most definitely not a guarantee for epic children. I've seen plenty of Christian parents whose kids grew up to be complete snots, despite them "caring enough about their kids to instill Christian values in them". There's also plenty of "Christian values" that I'd rather not instill in my children (e.g. misogyny).

And what about Jewish parents? Or Muslim parents? Or you know, any other religion? Do they not have any values worth instilling in children? And where are their rights to not have their kids learn about Christian views in public schools?

If I ever have kids, and they try to teach them religion in a public school? I'm going to bulldoze the damn place. I don't care if y'all sacrifice chickens to Mumumu or whatever the heck religious people do, but keep it away from public institutions.

Okay then, since you're obviously so smart, you tell us what it means.

Here, I'll help you.

Zionism is an international political movement that originally supported the reestablishment of a homeland for the Jewish People in Palestine (Hebrew: Eretz Yisra'el, “the Land of Israel”), and continues primarily as support for the modern state of Israel.[1]

Although its origins are earlier, the movement was formally established by the Austro-Hungarian journalist Theodor Herzl in the late 19th century. The movement seeks to encourage Jewish migration to the Promised Land and was eventually successful in establishing Israel in 1948, as the world's first and only modern Jewish State. Described as a "diaspora nationalism,"[2] its proponents regard it as a national liberation movement whose aim is the self-determination of the Jewish people.[3]

While Zionism is based in part upon religious tradition linking the Jewish people to the Land of Israel, where the concept of Jewish nationhood first evolved somewhere between 1200 BCE and the late Second Temple era (i.e. up to 70 CE),[4][5] the modern movement was mainly secular, beginning largely as a response by European Jewry to antisemitism across Europe.[6] It constituted a branch of the broader phenomenon of modern nationalism.[7] At first one of several Jewish political movements offering alternative responses to the position of Jews in Europe, Zionism gradually gained more support, and after the Holocaust became the dominant Jewish political movement.
I'm not saying I support the notion of Zionism, but it isn't a swear word or anything woefully awful like both of you are making it sound.

so help yourself before trying to help me

Zionism is quite often misconstrued as support for Israel but the real truth is it the belief that you are a direct descendant of the of the temple of Solomon... now there you have been enlightened you can no go forward a bit more informed

Cool. But before I go forth into the world with this new-found, un-cited, baseless enlightenment... how is this bad, again? And furthermore, how is this any different from any other religion that believes they're descendants of x or y? Christians believe that they're descendants of people who talked to snakes and ate too much fruit, but I don't see you flailing your arms around carrying on about how bad they are.

Also, not only does a Google search for "zionism temple of solomon" and "zionism solomon" disagree with you, not having a single constructive webpage supporting your statement... but neither the Wikipedia pages for Solomon's Temple, nor the page for Zionism, make a single reference to each other (nor are either of them even discussed in the Talk pages or had any revisions that have ever linked to each other)... and both are pretty vast pages with an adequate amount of citation in them.

I hope that my kids never have some "religious" values pushed upon them...

They just need to know that they should be a good person. Religion has nothing to do with that. And hopefully by not forcing something upon them, they are open minded and free thinkers to make this world a better place.

Don't like Palin, but I like McCains wife for multiple reasons.

This being one of them:

So, McCain FTW. Drama aside.

So instead of presenting even a shred of evidence backing up what you say when I not only call you out on it, but make a credible argument against what you say... you're just going to declare me the retard. Awesome.

Oh well, at least we can get off that useless tangent and get back to how awesome Sarah Palin is. Or was it an awesome tangent and we're getting back to how useless Sarah Palin is? I'm confused.

Wow... I absolutly hate the McCain campaign and have been a firm supporter of Obama for a good 2 months now, but I hate to say his wife isn't at all what I stereo typed her as... pretty cool. I wish my parents were filthy rich and could afford trips to Japan for drifting lessons.

I don't really like either candidate, but eh. I'm sure neither one will make a difference, moreso the US will just "get used" to the way things are going and compensate ourselves like we've been doing.

Indeed on getting your mom into drifting and going to Japan to have one of the top drivers teach me how. Wish it were me.

Then again money & cars sometimes doesn't mix... look at nick hogan. He's sailed his failboat deep into the sunset.

I wonder how you'll react when you find out that Jesus was actually Middle-eastern, and not white. Your savior is the same race as today's 'terrorists'.

You can keep living a life based off beliefs that were meant to control people, I'll live a free life.

Just think of Scientology. It's the same thing as Christianity, and it's the most mocked religion/cult in existence. Nothing more than a bunch of made up mumbo-jumbo, in order to control society. That is all religion is.

Lovely logic, but frankly it scares the shte out of me to think about where I end up when I die. Not concerned ey?

Maggots eating my corpse isn't how i'd like to picture it. Therefore, hokey-pokey myth religions is where i'll start in my process to ready myself for death.

In short, making fun of faith is a pretty big _______ thing to do. Yet another post I see by you that truely bothers me. Your style of expressing your opinion (over the net i'm sure is much different) is the reason why 99% of internet forums won't allow political and religious discussions.

Drown yourself in a bathroom sink, save the air for someone who has some values.

Actually, your style of getting all worked up is the reason why 99% of internet forums won't allow political and religious discussions.

I don't see a point in wasting your time worrying about anything that happens to you when you die. It's not like you can do anything about it, anyway.

I like how Obama hasn't suspended his campaign to go fight the big bad financial crisis. I'd love for him to release a press statement; "You know, I could suspend my campaign so I can appear like I'm concentrating 100% on this financial crisis... but you know, I can do two things at once. "
