And let's not forget to mention the $150,000 she has spent on clothing over the past 6 weeks. Or the $5,000 spent on her husband for clothes. Or how about the fact that she charged the Alaskan Government almost $22,000 for airfare and hotels for her daughters. OR the $17,000 she was paid to sleep in her own house.
Looks like she's willing to do anything with her power to benefit herself.

But she turned down the bridge to nowhere... just ask her. But remember not to mention the hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars she was given for the bridge that she never gave back.

Oh you mean the bridge that she supported from the beginning?

I love the act she puts on. "I'm one of you, I have a retarded baby that I don't attend to and I shop at Saks Fifth Avenue." All in that stupid accent of hers.

look at both sides... its not like its our tax dollars paying for all of it so i dunno how that could be a relevant point...
sorry... it also makes you sound very ignorant that you would go ahead and refer to her child as a "retard"... what does that child have to do with her political views in the campaign?
...what a joke
Maybe it's not so much what they spent on her clothes. Maybe it's because they tried to twist the "Lipstick on a pig" comment abot policy into an insult against her while they went out and spent $150,000.00 on clothes for her.
It's important because they paint everyone as an elitist, then drop what it takes their "Real American" families four years to make on clothing.
That's messed up.
I never knew you to be a Conservative, Jeff.

Not to enter into a religious debate, but whatever happened to doing good because it is the right thing to do? The sense of right and wrong should transcend religious beliefs; I feel it is a universal human condition. I am agnostic, not athiest, but find it funny to teach the motivation for doing good is so you don't get punished in an afterlife. It's really just an extension of kharma, juxtaposed from this life to the next.
That being said, kharma's a b**** this year for the Republican party. Maybe there's some truth to do bad things and bad things happen to you afterall. Now get you're butts out and vote, early if you can. If McCain wins, I'll seriously consider that AR-15 purchase, which will still be perfectly legal (with extended magazine no less, because 20 rounds just ain't enough to take down a deer). I'll need it to defend life and property when he sinks the economy even lower and the looting starts.

If Bush didn't start a riot after the 2004 election results, I doubt anything will happen. I live at the southern tip of Maryland, south of northern VA. Off of the main road you can still see confederate flags on pickups with gun racks, and even flying on people's houses.
Growing up around people with a prejudiced viewpoint I can say, trust me, they're not that motivated. Also, it's kind of hard to loot and riot when you need to walk a half-mile just to get tou your neighbor's house.
Riots normally take place in urban areas due to population density where higher poverty rates and lower employment rates lead to idle time to think about the general crappiness of the whole situation and with the right catalyst violent protest of it. I'm in 'neck central but only an hour from DC. My friend lives in northeast and I'm honestly nervous about parking on the street there because it could either be broken into, or more than likely some jackass teen in a stolen car will plow into the back of it running from the cops or on a joyride. Three cars have been hit already, and he just moved there in February.
