doanrs...some of your answers are so retarded they do not warrant response.

and despite what you might think, i am not brainwashed. nor I am so complacent as to think that sitting on my hands and "wishing" for change...jump into your wishful time machine and go back to your precious primaries.

so go back to your spin zone chief.

i am a realist...and know that this is as good as it gets. don't try to color me red or blue, i didn't even register to vote until the last election.
as a realist, i find it offensive that McCain would pick a MILF simply to appeal to a certain base...female PUMAs and males who like the sight of a bikini clad, gun toting pig in lipstick. The country is in jeopardy...and this is who he picks?

Yes, Obama has little experience...and got by largely because of charisma, hillary was too polarizing and frankly, the time for someone other than a white man....well, people were ready to begin talking about that. Whether they are ready to agreee, I don't think so..But talk about it. Yes, the time had come.

I don't believe O is the best. But I believe he is the better of the two.

And the end of the day..it doesn't really matter, we can pee in the wind all we like...because none of us pick the president anyway. We are just bystanders. But then, that is an entirely different scandal...

Congratulations on claiming we're doing something because "everyone else is doing it", even though we're clearly not. She does have a severe lack of experience, though.

But for the sake of argument, I will take the opposite stance from you, because I have an open mind and am a true independent voter and thinker (read not a brainwashed democrat or republican).
How very pretentious sounding of you. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were a Ron Paul supporter.

- pushing religion in schools The contitution says separation of church and state not separation of church FROM state. Common sense tells me that the founding fathers of our country were sick of England constantly having wars based on religion. They wanted the new country they were forming to not have an official stance on religion.
Common sense tells me that those who migrated from England were sick of religious persecution, and wanted to found a country that was free of that. Sticking one religion in government-sponsored schooling seems a bit counter to that, don't you think? Will the Jews and the Muslims and the Atheists and the Pagans etc. feel persecuted having their children being taught Christian ideas? I think so.

- abuse of power...investigation ongoing If you had the power....what would you do???
Well, not abuse it, for starters. Apparently you don't get very far doing stuff like that anymore.

- the 'bridge to nowhere' I think that falls under a congressional problem, not a governer problem.
Palin ran for governor on the platform that the "bridges to nowhere" were essential for Alaska, and she was frequently trying to convince Congress that it was a great idea. That makes it a governor problem.

-- no abortion, even in the case of rape and incest No argument from me here. I personally am against abortion except in cases of rape or insest. I however think that is a right for someone to choose for themselves and is none of the goverments business.
So let me get this straight... you don't believe in abortion except in rape and incest cases and agree that it should be the official federal position, but you want to give women the right to choose and don't believe the government should have any say in it? How does that work? You can't claim to want freedom of choice and then limit those choices.

- never taking a stance on anything except oil drilling sounds like lack of experience to me
Didn't you just yell at "us" for making this claim?

- exaggerating her role in foreign affairs and the reserves unit from her state show me a politcian that doesn't over exaggerate to advance him/herself and also, more inexperience
It's political suicide to do so now, what with the internet and all. Just because everyone does it, doesn't mean it's right.

- never having to balance a real budget...because you see.. Alaska has no income tax. They get federal support regardless of tax revenue shortfall. Nice right? So she would be ill equipped to handle the mess of juggling a budget after inheriting, say...a $700 Billion bailout plan. Last time I checked, congress sets the budget, and the president signs it...not the other way around.
This is not the "opposite side" of the argument. You're just saying what "we" (see: critics of Palin) say.

- oh and the inability to string a single coherent sentence together? Ever watched Obama speak live without a prompter. I have.
See above.

-Get informed. Get educated. You apparantly have in your mind that the vice president makes the budget and governers write bills that allow pork barrel spending.
Yes, I do. You know why? Well, for starters, Palin is "a 72-year-old heartbeat away from being President" if McCain is elected (I love that quote)... so her views on the budget and pork barrel spending matter.

Who exactly is "hating"? I think you're confusing "hate-mongering" with "making valid arguments".

I don't think anyone says republicans are hate mongers. I think they say they are ___-bashing closeted homosexuals trying to score in public airport bathrooms.

I laughed so hard when she said that. As for the Couric interview about which exact newspapers she read, I had the perfect answer. "if I want yesterdays news, I'd read the paper. I like to stay a little more up to date Katie" That would be an answer from a candidate I could stand behind.

Are you insane? You know who gives an answer just like that?? Bush. he has open disdain for news, media...it's a waste of his time apparently.

If you can stand behind that...I want to be standing as far away from you as possible

She could've said she read the May issue of Cosmo about pleasing her man and it would've been a better answer than the one she gave.

She's a Journalism major.

Sorry Katie....I can't read. That would also have been a better answer than she gave.

That probably would've been a bit more damaging.

By no arguement from me, I meant I cannot defend her position. I personally am against abortion except in cases of rape and insest. However, I think we as Americans have the right to choose. It should not be a govermnt choice.

Wait...so asking what newspapers one reads is an 'attack'?

And you support an answer that Bush gives...which is...who needs to know current events anyway?

Seriously, are you making up this babble as you go along? I cannot believe you are this obtuse.

Couric: Okay, then how do you stay "a little more up to date"?

Your answer is nothing more than a dodge, and her Couric interview was full of them. She certainly doesn't need the help.

While I do agree with your viewpoint on the matter (government shouldn't make the choice), I was more referring to her viewpoint on the issue. She's a big fan of the "I don't like it, so that means nobody can do it" approach. See: "controlling mother".

Sarah Palin is the queen of the non-answer. She's gonna get up there tonight, give a bunch of pseudo responses and make a few cute facial expressions and expect to be won over.

She hasn't figured out that she's not in a beauty pageant anymore.

That's why this is going to be such a good debate. Biden is going to be ruthless if she tries and pulls that kind of crap... and even if it slips by him, Gwen Ifill isn't going to stand for it.

I would not be surprised if Gwen Ifill makes Sarah Palin cry tonight.
