Scions and Gays
uh oh, alot of rich rappers are going to be very upset... (found under: ___ cars)

It looks like we were all wrong, found at the bottom of the first page when searching for 'lesbian cars'

In America, things are very different. Subaru, for instance, actively targets the ___ and lesbian community. Its Forester is regarded as the lesbian car of choice. Subaru even sponsors a ___ credit card.

Scion does mean a "branch" or an "offshoot" so i'd venture to guess that the Scion brand would be popular since the ___ community is an offshoot of the straight community. And how does someone go to a ___ school?
yes, of course Placebo, you should know me better than to miss somthing like that, but that could have easily been a typo, I don't get after people for typos. :D
You know I notice everything!
You know I notice everything!
I missed something and am confused by the student thing so just let it pass now.
Interesting:
I don't see "communities" in my life. Well, only the one: human society.
If I belonged to ___ orgs, then I'd say "yokay", to lable of "community of activists". But I don't belong to any such things nowadays.
Speaking only for myself, I don't like to schism people into "communities".
If I were a Catholic, sure! I'd be a member of the Catholic community.
(illustration)
But! I happen to have no interest in religion of any kind. But this does not make me a member of any "atheist community", for I don't know what -that- would be and would not join into any organized anti-God groups.
Similarly I don't join into pro-anything groups or communities other than the one community here: of reasoning people.
For we gays to set ourselves apart (together?) in a "community" is of course, giving the wrong impression to some other peoples. Some gays may join special interest organizations with agendas (as do straight people, theirs). Again, I do not call this an overall community/ compartmentalization effect.
Anyway, "we" (whatever "we" means to gays) are not an offshoot community from the community of Humans. We are at best, a catorgory or subset for demographic purposes only. We gays are not separate, new or even different from the mainstream except in our bedrooms, really.
Bottom line: Gays are not an offshoot of the "straight community". We are all of one-only community. To consider the big picture otherwise is to perpetuate division, to maintain some sort of ghettoization of the past to continue.
In my opinion this is unacceptable. Particularly because enemies of we minority gays use the "community" lable to excoriate us for our "agenda", our desire to live on equal terms in every venue, phase and role in society.
-need to pare this down somehow, but for now I play safe to cover all the semantical bases-
thanks!

I remember reading a publication earlier this year rating the the ___ community's favorite cars and the Mazda RX-8 was at the top of the list. I dont remember if any scions appeared on the list or not.
I guess a google search can turn up almost anything? Interest peaked, here's just one result. A discussion from a rotary forum:

All these comments about the Shinka version being a ___/queer because of color/interior, and the girly engineers etc, are kinda funny considering that everyone knows the Mazada RX8 is a chic sport car to begin with. My girlfriend loves this new Black Cherry special edition RX8, and the interior looks terrific....for girls of course. I'm telling her to get one asap. cheers!

it is out of proportion.
Looks like a car with a lot of potential for ricey mods.
Anyway the car may look bad, but the two rear doors are quite well hiden, it does look like a two door.

Glenn Reynolds Takes a Cheap Shot at Life
Buoyed by the successful killing of Terri Schiavo, Glenn Reynolds carried this little note this morning:
IT'S NOT LIKE THERE'S A WAR ON, or anything.
The link takes you to a post on the Corner, where Kathryn Lopez noted the passing of the Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act in the House.
Galley Friend C.L. writes in:
All of which makes me wonder if Glenn would be willing to trash talk Martin Luther King, Jr. After all, why should he have bothered with civil rights or basic matters of justice? It wasn't like there was a war on, or anything.
Good point.
Update, 12:00 p.m.: Reader AK adds:
Reynolds is right. There's a war on. We shouldn't spend our time worrying about other matters, like transhumanism, ___ marriage, the Mazda RX-8, campus photoblogging, the Nikon BJ6900LMNOP, our brother's bands, and space exploration.

Wow, this thread really surprised me. No offense Scifly but when I saw your pic I kinda knew you were ___ but I didn't really think there were many more ___ people on this forum. I guess it's because I can't see them or talk to them and pic up on their mannerisms. I'm straight as Indian hair, married to my beautiful wife and have a wonderful son who'll be three next month. But anyway, I go to a school that focuses a lot on art, nursing, and culinary. I am the only straight guy in my entire program and I cannot tell you how many times a guy or girl come up to me thinking I am ___. It doesn't bother me. I really think it's kinda funny. Girls will talk to me about stuff that they wouldn't normally talk to a straight guy about and then they see my wedding ring and are like "Oh my God" I thought you were ___. Guy's will smile at me and try to sit next to me. It's really funny. Sometimes I play along with the girls. They'll be like "are you married?" and I'll say something like "well yeah, me and my partner went to Massachusetts to get married and then came back here". Then I'll tell them the truth. Well, I just took this thing way off topic. Sorry!
I got ___ and lesbian friends some of them drive scions.....
the girl drives an xB and the guy a tC...
--- and sam it didnt even cross my mind.. until you kinda spilled it the other time.... Funny how not even the dance you did at jillians gave it away.... lol! just kidding! Forgive me for not having a gayday like jon! haha
