I know that the charts are off. I'll give you that. If you are healthy and have some muscle mass the chart will show you as too heavy. But healthy people like that know they are OKay and the charts are wacked out for them.

BUT..... go to the mall, or something. There are a lot of fat asses out there. Funny thing.... I've traveled all around the world and the USA is the only place where poor people can be fat.

Why would you call a bunch of people 'fat asses'? Do you really need to use insulting language to label people? I bet you're one of those guys who gets a kick out of calling people like me "N***er", "Sp*c", or "___" right?

Funny u mention this, altho for a different reason than i had first thought. But as mentione above, america is the fattest country in the world(plz correct me if i'm wrong).. and TX, which im in, has 5 of the fattest cities in this country. But as long as ppl are healthy, i think they'll be fine...

ok, so, i'm 6-0 and 240. which by the stupid little gauge things that they have online says i'm fat. when in reality I'm quite muscular. i do have these little love handles at my sides that I can't seem to get rid of, but other than that, i'm tight. i worked construction in college and enjoyed the feeling of being in shape. i am by no stretch, fat, but i'll fill out a 2x after a washing or two. i'll usually buy a 3x so i don't get stared at so much though. i'm not bragging, just telling it like it is. and i resent your implication that since I will pick up a 3x t shirt, i am fat. i can bench press one of you and can clean hang between 2 and 3 of you. I run/bike ride and hit the universal sets at least once every other day, sometimes every day. it depends on work stress. it's my way to unwind. a sound mind and body make everything else easier in life. so, don't assume anyone is fat because they don't wear your clothes size. some of us like to be more capable with our bodies.

I can bench my own weight too... plus an extra 40 pounds. I work out everyday too. Simmer down bro... I apologized. You ever talk out of your ___? Well I do. I made a mistake... get over it! I've played baseball and basketball my whole life and I played a little baseball in college, but guess what... Nobody cares! Whoop Dee Doo! I really hope you don't lose sleep over a stupid comment. I think it's even funnier that people got ____ed off about it.

Bench pressing your own weight isn't spectacular. My friend has won bench press competitions in which he benches nearly 2.8x his body weight. He weighs less than 150 and benches close to 360 lbs. I've been to at least two of his competitions with pictures for proof.

Touched a nerve, huh?

Quit whining. He was right in his original post when he remarked upon the ever-expanding waistline of the American public. We've established the fact that very tall people are of higher weights and thus do not fit this bill, as well as very muscular folk. Otherwise, people are getting unhealthier and it's getting to be alarming.

And for whoever posted the comment about the anti-Supersize-me video, I'd say the original is far more accurate in portraying the potential effects of a McDonald's diet as it portrays what people will actually eat. Calorie counters don't go to McDonald's every day for a month- people who get Big Macs do.
