Pentium D was the precursor to Conroe chips. Its the first gen dual core processors. Conroe is the fastest duo core right now. AMD is supposed to come out with some new chips and Intel is working on another ring of multicore processors that is supposed to blow even the conroe out of the water.

Pretty sure its thermoelectric.

My dvd burners work great lol. Its been about 1+ year or so now and ive burned hundreds of Movies

Linux is great, I suggest you start getting more into Solaris if you can just cause of more real world use. But Unix is unix regardless

Microsoft, ehhhh. Yes they are a monopoly, but I give them credit. I use windows, its easy, I could use solaris just as easy.

VMWARE is grea btw lmaooo.

Yeah I'm probably going to be learning on Ubuntu. I hear its the easiest to start on and upgrade/get software. I just hate how everyone thinks they gotta spend the buttloads of money microsoft is charging for office and windows when there's things like mozilla, openoffice, and various linux distros around for free.

Hah, well mozilla and open office and a lot of linux are available for download off of their legit websites. No possible infringement of any rights what-so-ever. And we shall speak no further of such things. (shifty eyes)
