This thing SCREAMS! Literally! Every time I boot this thing up, it sounds like a Concorde at takeoff! Do I win?
If you choose to go Linux, try Suse 10.1. It is, by far, the most fully functional and easy to use flavor of Linux available. Endlessly customizable and very forgiving when it comes to a learning curve. I tried learning Linux using Gentoo. <-- Bad Idea!

I also run several Server 2K3 terminal servers built on Dell Opti 2850's that couldn't hold a candle next to the killer Suse RM.
I ran XP Pro on the RM for a week after assembly just to get a comparison with the average desktop. Have you ever seen a Windows box that is so fast, you can hardly see the intro splash screen upon bootup? Unbelievable!!

Man that's a crazy ___ keyboard. Thing looks like you could take control of audio equipment at concerts and the scoreboards at a baseball game...
The Computer is awesome, more than I can ask for. Before I was running a Home Built Modded CPU with a p4 3.0 gig processor and 1.5 gig of ram with AGP. IT SUCKED! When it finnaly started giving me trouble I opted for the dell.
The cpu is great for multitasking, it lets me alt tab out of any game, run multiple applications, etc. All runs quiet as a whisper too.
The keyboard is awesome. Each individual key is backlight by blue lights and the LCD screen gives you a percentage of ram and cpu usage or the time and date. It also interacts with music and lets you skip or control the volume.

Thankyou sir! She's not the most expensive thing on the planet, but I'm quite happy with her. I'm gonna hold off on computer parts for a while, until the crazyass new multi-core processors and HD graphics cards/physics cards come out and the market has stabilized a bit. Now I just gotta move away from Windows to Linux. Currently trying to learn it on a frankenstein machine I built for it. Sadly most game won't run on Linux. They're working on it though... (crosses fingers)
