I've preordered GTA IV from Amazon because I had a Gift Certificate...I chose overnight shipping but I'm wondering if they will ship it out the day before so I get it on the day of release or will I get it the day after?

I preordered Gran Turismo 4, a loooong time back and they sent it out so I received it the day it was streeted to release. That was like 2 years ago though, so not to sure if its the same still.

 

I got GT5 off Amazon this week, they ship it the day it releases, kinda sucks. But its only a day off. Doesnt make a difference, the game isnt going to be any less fun if you have it the day of release or a month later.

i dont really pre-order my games... the day that the game is out i usually just use Best Buy's "in-store pickup" and pick it up during my lunch break or after work.

I dunno if i can do it with though GTAIV, since theres gonna be a demand for it.

 

yeah the only reason I ordered from Amazon was because I had a $50 store credit form them...so I ordered the special edition because even with the overnight shipping it came out to less than what I would have paid for the regular version with tax..

oh well t minus 8 days
