dude, how do you keep placing first in those car shows, there must not be many scions in the area? in my area scions like yours are a dime a dozen. Considering the major upgrade yo have are wheels, everything else looks like factory parts ?

please dont take it this wrong, I know you love the car, im not saying its not a bad car either, but first place at a car show?

 

if you've watched the simpsons in the past, those are called "speed holes" they make your car faster.

well im a stock guy. everything is illegal in cali. last thing I need is to draw attention to my car from the police. I was pulled over for tint with my windows rolled down. :/

if you notice no more tint :D, if I had anything like an exhaust, it wouldve been over. I can mod the car and draw attention to myself, if I feel like getting pulled over and fined everytime i pull out the driveway.

I want to keep the car looking clean, simple and low key.

the only reason i brought up your car is because I kept see you post about it and how you won first and smoke people on the street, so I took a look at your profile.

 

well this is my deal listen up

i never say anything bad about anyone or their car, i never disaprove about what they have in it or on it whatever the case may be.

Even if I do not like their stuff I never say anything, I figure it's their car they paid for it thet can do whatever they want, whether it be TRD parts (don't understand why they don't get respected) or whether they are aftermarket like HKS, Ingen etc.

If someone goes to a show and place I'm right there congratulating, I'm happy for the person, Whether it be a scion show or a local show. I'd rather have a scion win over rice any day, also I'm open minded, some ppl don't get HIN or NOPi or Sema or any of the special scion shows. In my area all we get is Scion Invasion, and I cant even go this year and that sucks. But I just wanted to let you know how things role in my neck of the woods

 

he isnt knockin you, he is just sayin, you say you place first or at least a podium finish in almost every show you attend..

i dont see how you do it either, it is mainly a stock car, now i have a stock car too, and thats why you dont see me entering car shows.

 

well im not placing 1st out of everyone in the entire show, im placing in a category, and at that i only place in one, some others place in 2-3 other categorys. i did place in a 2nd category for detailed engine tho, this entiltles no greasyness just down right clean, and shiny lol. i dont make the rules. it's just what the judge likes and see's

 

I think you shouldnt take my comment too seriously.

do your thing, I do wish my area had fewer scions. I literally see 15 tcs or so on my commute through out the day. in any given parking lot I park in there are about 7 scion tcs parked there.

and in a college parking lot, ill expect to see 20+
there are far too many scions in my area, kind of makes it difficult to remain an individual and still maintain a street legal car.

 

the camry is the first placer, see how "heavily modded" he is..

 

Its hard to win the "Import Class" At a Hooters Car show...just look at how many Imports there are in the background

 

i just pulled this beauty in the shop today, and yes that is window screen that is hot glued on, and it has a portable camping crapper in the back, i really dont wanna know what these people do in their free time
