GO CARDS!!! Yet, I gotta hand it to the New York Mets. It was a heck of a series. Both teams played hard!

When Chavez snagged that (almost) homerun from Rolen and pulled off a double play I just sat there in disbelief! Also, I gotta admit I was a little scared to see Beltran at the plate with the bases loaded in the 9th....

But none of it matters any more because the Cardinals got the pennant!! God I love St. Louis.

Next stop --- DETROIT!!

As a Yankee fan I was pumped to see the Mets lose, but this series was pretty awesome. I was also scared to see that last at bat. That last pitch would've been at least a double if he made contact.

 

Yeah--how can you take a called third in that situation. The guy had been dropping yackers to all the batters so you had to be prepared for the curve.
