Disclaimer - this is assuming you were the moron racing on John Young past Walmart (near the roadside crosses where those 3 girls were killed in a street racing crash). If not, then I had someone just as idiotic do the same thing.
You just don't understand a break when I give you one. Please take me to court so I can print this out and show the judge.

ACTUALLY *ahem*
As someone who works at Microsoft and works with local law enforcement and federal agencies around the world, the internet CAN be used in court if due process is followed, which means they would have to trace something like the email address the account posting that information was made with, then send me, or my equivalent at a company that isn't msn, hotmail, or live a subpoena or even just an official request on their departments letterhead asking nicely... we would then provide them with what they were requesting (i.e. IP address, account user info, account activity logs etc etc)
but as the guy said, the only thing that makes that happen is if the officer wants to take it that far... and 9/10 for something like that they wont.
PS-
they can do it with xbox live too.
Just sayin.
And the pwng at the top is fantastic.

OWNED!
But Adorian is correct, police can use your information from the net.
I remember reading about a group of riders who posted there stunt videos on youtube.
The local PD got youtube to release the videos as evidence. and all people involved where ticketed and fined in court.
So be careful, on what you posted.

the OP got pwned online, it's now a classic traveling the globe and there's nothing you can do to diminish that.
