It sure felt good!!!
I FINALLY decided to go to a gun range with a friend. A little nervous but I manned up!...
I've NEVER EVER shot a gun before, so this is why I agreed to go with my buddy from work.
Wow! What a feeling! He brought his .38 Special and a 45mm Glock...
I was very nervous while putting the bullets in the magazine clip, I was shaking. My buddy is just cracking up the whole time. I loaded the gun and BOOM! I shoot the first shot and it just pulled my arms back! I didn't expect that! After a while though, it sure felt good!!!
Btw, I signed up for my FOID card while I was there...
I'll post up a few pics later, once I find my cable!

Yep! Good eye. =]
I've been wanting to go shooting again, and they definitely are one of the cheaper places in SD. There were three of us and we spent about $100 for 3 hours of fun. Can't beat $5 a gun. Everywhere else is $10-12 plus range fees per person. Sucks that you can't go by yourself though..

I got into shooting and hunting at a fairly young age. I went all the time as a teen. I don't do a lot of hunting anymore but I still own all of my guns (12 or so) and I still enjoy target shooting. It's a fun hobby.
lol welcome to the addiction
Everyone always joked around before my husband and I got married that if we did they were getting us matching gun racks... now that we are married they say if we ever get divorced it'll be like Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

^lol, that's legal here in WA
Congrats! You are no longer a gun virgin!
I started shooting back in high school when I was a cadet at the police department. Before each ride-along, the officer I usually went with would insist on me going to the range before the shift. I too would be nervous, but just empty a few clips and it will get out of your system, lol, then work on accuracy and always remember SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY!
I just got a Glock .40 for XMas! Put the first 100 rounds through that baby last week. It's a great gun and I like it much better than the .45, there's just too much kick.
My aresenal:
Glock 22 .40
Sig P229 .40
Beretta .22
1951 Ruger .357 revolver
S&W .38, snub-nose
