For my worst injury ever was when i doing a combat jump in GA and the guy that jumped behind me was alot bigger and it was 12 knots on the wind. So as im preparing to land his parachute slipped under mine and stole the air from my chute. So in other words it started collapsing and i fell to the ground fast as fu*k and fractured my shoulder, my hip. And i also torn the rotater cup and legiments. But i was pretty lucky on that but i was scared as he!!. BTW im sure i spelled something wrong lol

About a year ago, my friend Natalie got married. Nice ceremony and even better reception (I'll get back to that). After the reception her mom wanted to do some photos. Instead of the typical rice throwing, all of the guests were brought outside and place into two lines facing each other. We were given sparklers so we could hold them up and the bride and groom would then walk through a tunnel of sparkley light. Ooooo, pretty. Her mom hands me a few sparklers and goes about helping the others get ready. I suppose that she forgot that I'm a bit of a pyro (unpaid professional IMO) and later ends up handing me two more BOXES of sparklers.

Remember that open bar at the reception I mentioned? Well, I took full advantage of the free booze and was fairly inebriated and not thinking clearly. I actully thought it would be a good idea to hold all of those damn sparklers in one hand for the bride and groom's exit. I didn't realise that 30 or so sparklers don't sparkle, they do a crazy flash burn and get really, really hot in the process. I ended up with 3rd degree burns on my thumb, index and middle fingers and was known for the rest of the night as the drunken idiot who nearly caught himself on fire.

The burns didn't really hurt that much at first. Maybe because the nerves had been destroyed or maybe just because of the alcohol but when they started to hurt they hurt a lot and for a long time. Just when the pain was begining to go away (about two weeks later) the charred skin began cracking and peeling off exposing the very tender flesh underneath.

I no longer play with sparklers while drinking.

Since you brought it up, do you know the worst pain Chuck Norris has felt?

That was a trick question. Chuck Norris doesn't feel pain. He is pain.

one of my friends is a chef and i remember when he was going to culinary school he got a wicked burn on his wrist. melted or cooked sugar, whatever it's called, accidentally spilled on him. he told me the pain would not go away for a couple of days and it felt like it was still burning hours after he got it cleaned up.

No, I don't think she beat me for either of those stupid stunts, but I did get quite the beating with a broom for bringing home a Coral Snake when I was 9.
"Look, Mom. Isn't it cute?" Apparently, she didn't think so. Being beaten by my mother for bringing home venomous snakes didn't really knock any sense into me, I guess. I still have several snakes at home! No wonder Mom never comes over to visit.

My appendix got infected and needed to be removed when I was 18. The ride in the car to the hospital was awful. Every time we it a bump, it felt like I was being kicked in the nuts and punched in the stomach at the same time.

just post the pics for claudia.

Worst pain I've felt. Hmmm. Nothing really as dramatic as any of your pains however. At school I generally play hackey sack with some friends and this kid no one likes (We call him **** stomp because it looks like he's a **** soldier marching when he kicks) this kid takes the game too seriously. He either misses you or completely annihilates you. Needless to say. One time he hit me right in the two brothers. I was "out" for most of that day.

couldn't walk for 2 days. i had to drag myself around and forget about the bathroom. that was an adventure. doctors said if it was anymore severe, (like it wasnt, right ) they would have had to remove it!

imagine hearing that at 13 years old
I actually went through this right at the end of last year. The way my pain started was i had a very mild pain on the left side of my stomach late at night. The next morning, my left leg hurt like a _____ and every step I took, a pain went to the ******** (left one). I went to the doctor and the drive there was horrendous because not only did i have a fever but the bumps and rail road tracks we went over, shook everything in my body, including the jewels. The doctor said it was an infection and gave me something for the pain and for the swelling...oh ya, did i mention that my left ******** swelled up like a baseball? I swear, the sharp pain that went from my middle region up to my stomach each time I tried to get up has to be one of my worst pains ever because it was EVERY time i was upright. I was out of commission for more than a week. And it was really scary as well because these types of things can lead to cancer if you aren't careful.

The doctor didn't really seem alarmed, so that was reassuring but he did tell me that MANY males get this infection and there's really nothing a guy can do about it. Except, getting a vasectomy would cure the problem but the hell with that, no way I'm doing that to myself right now. The doctor also said, it can be a recurring problem. It's weird but I do always feel that there's something there, it's a very odd feeling that I cannot describe.
