Haha....Me and my GF picked out our wedding rings last weekend and though she liked the one I picked out, she asked why I liked it and I said cause it reminds me of my old cam gears on my civic...but for the tire...I would have to say Nah!

 

i'd rock em if they sold em in tread patters of tires I use.

 

i'm gonna try and get my company to make something like these. anyone got a suggestion on how it can be improved? obviously using patented tread designs isn't going to fly, but anything else?

 

anyone make real carbon fiber rings or brushed aluminum style?

 

my company makes some brushed sterling silver that looks like brushed aluminum. doubtful you'll find much actual aluminum rings, as the metal is cheap, but the process to make them would be costly, as they'd need a high temperature needed for casting(not even sure if they could be casted).

never heard of carbon fiber rings, will pass that along.

the retail prices on those carbon fiber rings makes me wonder what the actual cost for making those things are. could be pennies to make a $80 ring.

I bet tire manufacturers would want rings made with their tread design.
