Right now I have just about everything major running (minus games) and still not a single dent in performance. I can switch songs in iTunes without any hesitation, I can switch from one space to the next, open new windows in firefox...anything without delay.
Here are my iMac specs

Everything came to $2200, with 3 year warranty, dotMac subscription, and tax. Honestly, I'd love to see someone build a PC with these specs, with a 1920x1200 24" monitor, that runs this quiet, runs this cold, and is as compact.

Okay, enough PC bashing for tonight, I have to pack and get ready for this weekend. Redline Time Attack @ Summit Point :D. I'll have a bajillion pictures on Monday to put up.
I still really haven't figured out any good use for the remote that came
with mine. Since it is wirelessly linked to just about everything else in
the apartment, and can even send video/audio to the big TV across the
room, the laptop is right there in front of me to control, no remote
needed.
I've used the remote just to see how well it does, but other than that it
just lives in my laptop carrier with the assorted cables and such.
I did used to use a remote with my eMac, but that was a different story
entirely - I don't consider a 60 pound machine to be portable even if it
DOES have a handle... :D

I'm planning on going to the track this friday...tomorrow I'm picking up a brand new set of stock rims and tires...for free! So I'll have like, what, 4 full sets?
maybe I'll get some traction this time...
