ok guys. i'm breaking down. this internet ban is annoying. no more myspace/youtube... etc...

any ideas? i tried all the proxy sites. they are all blocked. i mean something with a usb drive? anything?

they use fortiguard... and something else for the 2 main ones. i cant figure it out.

 

Set up a proxy on your own server, Chris. That's what the local school kids are doing around here.

The even just set up their home desktop on cable or DSL and put a sloppy little proxy server app on it and away they go.

Eventually the school finds out, and the kids move on to the next desktop.

found out that whole bit. but wasn't at home yet to try. ;)

i figured out if you make it a secure connection. it works..

ie.

http://proxy.org

blocked

https://proxy.org

not blocked.

;) they can't stop me.
