Im still at my first job after a couple of years.

My first job was here at Toyota as a rental agent. Starting pay was $8.50 an hour.

I'd prefer to not say what i make now, but its more.

I fcking love me some BK, but i'm with you on that. You have to goto dairy queen, which usually is flame broiled, which usually is hot. I have caused a few scenes in at fast food restaurants, and at BK with those 16 year olds microwaving my burger right in front of me.

last time, with the "restaurant" full of people the wait was long, but when they finally started to make my burger, I noticed as they put it together and then the kid popped it in the microwave.
i had to say "Don't microwave my burger, i want a fresh one"
16 punk: "It's the same thing, we do it all the time"
"look, i don't want you to microwave my burger, especially with the wrapper and lettuce"
16 punk: "It's fine, it ain't gonna kill you" ...omg, what great customer service, so they got:
"You know what, I want it my way, right away, none of the microwave **** you ******* little 16 year old punk"

Then the manager came out, some little mexican _____ telling me to keep my voice down. She got a similar treatment, she turned around and spouted off some spanish gibberish i know was about me. I called her out on it, saying "what the fck did you just say _____?" I ended up just getting my money back after about 15 minutes of this, as the manager refused service.

argh that gets me steamed.

I have been extremely lucky with jobs.

Started at publix at 16 making $5.15 but with tips would make around 12 bucks an hour. Did that from highschool till mid-college

Then Sales where I made like $8.50 but with commision made around 20 bucks at the age of like 20 till end of college

Now I am a new resident doctor making crap till I finish residency and then I will be banking.

You ring 'em, I bring 'em? Thats friggin hilarious man.

Dave, I totally agree with you, the only close (less than 1 mile) resturant to my work is BK, its actually next door, and I only go there when Im about to die of hunger. I always have to order my food in a weird way to make sure its fresh, and when I call them out about non fresh food, they act like they have no idea what I'm talking about.

A week or two ago, I got a batch of tater tots with my breakfast meal, and they were ROCK HARD. I took them back, and asked for tater tots cooked after the Y2K scare. The person looked at me blankly and said, "Whats Y2K?". I didn't bother going any father, I just said "I would like fresh tater tots that are not ROCK HARD".

i hate bk
slow lines
retarded cashiers
and the one near my house has a hole in the roof in the middle of the kitchen with sesame seeds everywhere.
they got their baggies out of a huge trashcan under the hole in the wall i went to grab ketchup out of this huge ketchup packie ben and it felt like someone poured DP in there and all the packets stuck togethor.
our cashier was a tard biscuit.
we told her 2 seperate orders that were excatly the same
well she merges them and we tell her its seperate. and asks us to pay first before we ordered.
it seemed like she snorted sesame off the floor or something
one last thing our order was like $25 as one order
but $6 seperate. someone was trying to rape our wallets
i hate BK with a passion CLEAN YOUR ____ING RESTERAUNTS

first job, working at a ___ furniture company, did that for a while, wouldnt even recomend it to my worst enemy.

currently in college, im 19 and i am a delievery driver for pizza hut. i get paid miniumin, but i make ALOT of tips. I average about 19-20 dollars per hour, which is pretty good for what i do, because i love driving, and thats all i do all day long.

i highly suggest working at a pizza place, its really fun, and you can make alot of money, best part is, at least at my store, you dont have to report your tips.. i make about 30-45 dollars a night on a weekday, and a good 80-110 dollars a weeknight, all in cash, and then i get a paycheck every two weeks haha.. money kinda flows in.

Ok, for all you people complaining about not being able to find a fresh burger... if you ever get out to California (I think there may be one in vegas and a couple in AZ now) go to In-n-Out. Best/freshest/most awesome fast food place EVER!

JC Penney's baby!

I was the guy that's supposed to be showing you stafford shirts and ties .... but I could usually be found hanging around in the junior's dept. mmmm

Then it was a local home & garden greenhouse place. I really just wanted a grunt kinda job and I got it. I was a "Carry out" ... so I carried bags of soil and "fertilizer" out to BMWs and Benzez for little old ladies who like to give strapping young lads 20s! bling

Then I went to work at Office Max and became a klepto because we didn't have any security cameras and the guys back in the warehouse place were a REALLY bad influence on me.

All three jobs paid between 6.50 and 7.00/hr, the garen greenhouse place had some decent, tips, and a good workout and tan.
