what was your first job
lol. sounds like this girl at my 2nd job(being of average iq is a rarity there).
The manager last night asked a co-worker in our breakroom, "what are you eating, a ham sandwich?"
she said, "I don't know."
who in their right mind has such apathy towards food, that they do not know what they are eating?
"You know what, i'm just gonna close my eyes, grab something out of the fridge, and just start eating. Maybe it's a bottle of ketschup, maybe it's last month's olive loaf, who cares, i'm eating it."

I started as a babysitter, I watched 3 kids (bada$$ kids) for $8.00/hr then I had a whole lot of jobs in between
Now I work for a payroll company doing marketing and sales and am responsible for maintaing our client relationships.... and I love every minute of it!!!
I would say go for a job that doesn't involve too much labor - you're 15 go for a business that not only will you get paid for but you can benefit from working there like for example when I work for this upscale steakhouse I get 50% off on food!!
Most important look for something that you know you won't have a problem doing.

Mine was at McDonalds for $6/hour. That was for my Freshman>Sophmore summer of HS. Then after summer when I turned 16 I started working a local Pontiac Buick Subaru dealership as a lot attendant at $9/hr. Best job I could ask for at that age.
First job was at Quiznos. Started at 6.75(minimum wage). Quit about a year and change later. Now I work at a golf park. Still make minimum wage but I don't do jack so I can't complain.
my first REAL job for an actual company was at Papa John's pizza. i miss it. THE best pizza ever . I went when they were new to cali.
I still love that place. SOO YUMMY

1st gig, nearly 30 yrs ago: I worked with hoes... literally. Picking weeds out in the fields alongside the crews up from Texas.... keeping the lettuce & carrots growing fresh. Got me a couple bucks an hour, a good sunburn ( as i'm from the white bread clan ), and gardening skills I still avoid... then came tarring roofs on mobile homes and insulating crawlspaces... no wonder i drank so much back then...
course could only afford huber and "generic beer"...
