No news yet on getting that thread resurrected, but I'm still digging.

I just want everyone to know how much Tomas does for this community in general, and that he's really stepping up in this situation. It's not his job or responsibility, so for a few of you out there, please don't be so quick to dismiss his effort.

 

We may disagree on that, Troy: I do feel I have a responsibility, and that's why I step up.

The folks being dismissive are no problem, they're just not well informed. :D My "style" is to stay in the background as much as possible, and only step up front when I need to, so it's (purposely) real easy to miss me.

Just a quick update, I got a call today in my office from a lady from Beyond Mkg. They wanted me to get an estimate on my damages on my xB and to send it asap. I didn't go into too much detail about how frustrated I was because it really wasnt going to do anything. So if you get a 949 area code come up on your cell phone or caller id, chances are its them.

Oh Tomas, I dont know you personally but I can tell you are a good person. Keep up the good work.

One of these days we just might meet up, though - I'm down in Eugene/Springfield AT LEAST once a year since the '40s. (Be down there again in December.)

Just a single not also. Make sure eveyone is checking there Credit Cards. I got dinged by the hotel for over $260 bucks. When I checked out I made sure there was no charges. I personally checked out at the desk then to come home and see charges on the card.

 

Jeremy, I got dinged almost $800 for hotel stay not including my wife's room service crap. lol. Its all fixed though.

they charged my entire stay there........On accident though. wheewww Scared the crap out of me though.

 

i had $280 held on my debit card but it was released yesterday.

i had a strip of black electrical tape on each headlight when i got my car returned by the valet dudes. i have a pair of retro-fitted projectors. Any idea why they did that?

It sounds like they have a fairly hefty list to get through, toeveryhour, so it all won't happen at once. I'm sure they are working their way through as rapidly as they can.
