Heheheheheh... You have NO idea what I have or have not been doing, SLIVER007, so don't EVEN go there. (I'm the one who got the Admins involved, I've already dropped e-mails to BMG, I'm involved with several topics in the moderator and admin areas of the site sorting out what happened, how it happened, who was involved, and why. Just because I'm not doing everything in public and tagging everything in sight, does not mean I'm not doing anything.)

Dkfung88, so far the fried RS3 box is still sitting in LV, NV, and probably will not reach Oklahoma for at least another week or so. Once it reaches OK, it will be repaired and finally returned to its owner.

I don't know about you, but even if I were being eventually reimbursed, I would not want to be forced into two to four weeks of rental fees with no warning. (I doubt very seriously if this is a cheap $20/day rental, either.)

Now, instead of sitting around and picking at each other, maybe it would be reasonable to at least consider working together on this instead?

Thanks.

Well since you said that... If you think about it, if it weren't for scion. No one would have been there in the first place and then no ones cars would have gotten messed up. If my car was there and got messed up, Getting my car all fixed and back to how it was before the event is the least I would expect.

you know if I were working for scion or BMG and this crap happened, I'd go after the valet service, and make them pay for every scratch on every car that was damaged, and I have a suspicion that there may be a lawsuit involving that valet service over this before its all said and done

Ok, I agree. Let's move on from us badgering them to death about damaging the cars and to THE most important part. When are we going to hear from BMG about getting our cars fixed?

ya'll should probably check with your insurance companies, and my suggestion, this wasn't all BMG's fault, yea it was theirs for hiring them but if they didn't know they were crappy..

I'd go after 5 star parking or whatever, and let your insurance know who to go after

You know it sucks that there was some damage to some vehicles, but overall it sounded like it was a fun time looking at all the other threads. Mistakes happen, I would have been honored to go personally, but unfortunately I was not able to. I think as soon as the commerecial(s) come out the bitter taste will be gone and the sweet taste of scion pride, saying you were there, and possibly seeing your vehicle will be all that remains!

well i disagree on filing a claim with the insurance company regardless of what type of claim , it's still a claim ..

I believe if were all patient and give them a few days to get a game plan in place we all will be taken care of without a hassel , Scion has been way to good to it's owners to stop now and leave us hanging , it might be a case that Scion steps up for us then goes after who ever , but we will be taken care of ..

After a full cleaning and a coat of wax I found a few more spots slightly damaged and 1 rim curbed ( had to be turned just right to see it ) ..

Again thanks Scion for a great event , keep them coming

hmmm...well....

Im sorry that some people had crazy damage to their vehicles, but you cant go blaming ALL the valet's for the actions of a few. My valet lady who took my keys was very nice and the guy who returned my car was nice as well...even tho i did encounter some of the jerk valet guys while i was standing at the tent on the hill (where the cars were parked).

Yea the marketing people should have interviewed the people they hired for valet but this is just going to be a lesson learned for future reference.

If you're car was damaged and you reported it, hopefully they are trying their best to help u fix it because i doubt they'd be stupid enough to be like "oh well who cares" about it, u know?

Be grateful that you even had the opportunity to be accommodated in nice resorts for you and a guest AND given free prepaid visa cards.

Think positive and positive things will happen (and thats not jibberish, its the truth). Sitting there on your computer typing away at your keyboard on this thread about this and that will not resolve your issue, it will only make the situation worse and leave you more ____ed off.
Think about how much fun you had BEFORE you picked up your bruised babies and all the cool people you met!

....and to the clown who had the nerve to yell at Tomas, watch yourself.

I can't believe at some of the responses from the Yahoo group...."pitty damage?" there is nothing pitty about a blown motors and axels... I can't believe people are telling the owners of these damaged vehicles to stop whining because Scion gave them stuff. The cars should not have been treated the way they where end of story, if the company who contracted those DippSH*t valets felt the same way as Scion about treating you guys like VIP guests then these incidents would not have happened. It's just a shame poop like this had to happen.

To the owners I hope all your claims and issues get resolved quickly I know if this had happened to me I would be equally upset goodluck guys.

the reason you should contact your insurance company is so they know, and possibly they could work with BMG to write the estimates and get everything handled that way

I had my girl call our insurance company and they said I could claim it on my comprehensive (wouldn't affect my rates) and then the insurance company would subrogate the claim and go after who gave me my paperwork when they took my XB to be reimbursed. My painter said he'd eat the deductible until I got reimbursed through my insurance.
So I think I'm gonna give 'em til Monday, if no call, the claim gets filed and I'm washing my hands of this whole deal.

Hopefully your insurance company/policy is fairly relaxed about how long after a loss you have to file a claim. Some of 'em are pretty tight (mine gives 72 hours).

i had to have my car driven by a single valet driver. my car has a joystick to drive, plus a touchpad to turn on the car and run the tranny. i think that helped me out for not getting any damage. i flat up told the kid if it came back damaged, i knew who to look for considering he was the only one who could drive it. my car was lucky enough to be pavement only labeled too. they only thing odd was my battery was reset.... im not going to think of them opening my hood and fiddling with 60k worth of computer parts, so i'll just chalk it up as dumb coincidence.
the kid that valeted the car was pretty terrified to drive my car as well. although i did get testy with the other valet there. i told him my car was close to 110k with all my assistance tech, and he replied "we drive 150k cars all day" very condescending like. my response was "this isn't some rich guy of the lot car, this is man power and time, so unless you can come up with that then be careful with it. " he pretty much stfu. 'ed.

i think the problem was so many people were driving your cars. there was i bet 50 valets and 420 cars. thats like 9 cars for 1 valet. i think they shouldve had at least a 2 car 1 valet ratio with ASSIGNED cars. they other problem was the people who drove your car on saturday, weren't the same team as on fri and sun. if you guys wouldve had assigned valets, there wouldn't be a huge hassle.

Beautiful car, Wade.

I'm glad they were careful with it.
