this post is being written from my Wii console!

 

We had 18 people over for a Christmas dinner Saturday night and the Wii was a giant hit!

I tried to take pics, but the house was so crowded, and I was so busy, I couldn't get any good shots.

My son is a crack up when he does the bowling. He follows all the way through and then stops, fully extended like a statue while he watches the ball.

But he still kicks my a## every time! My top score is 211.

The Nintendo website has movies of people playing the Wii.

i got Call of Duty 3, Dragonball Z, and Elebits for xmas! wohoo!

 

Wii Play got delayed to 2/12 that sux!!

 

Yeah, my daughter got a gift card to Gamestop and I went to reserve Wii-play last night and they told me.

I bet the game is ready to go, as it sounds similar to Wii-sports. The problem probably is producing enough controllers.

 

i don't know they have plenty Wiimotes for sale at the EB game store where I work!

ON THE SUBJECT OF BATTERIES

Has anyone tried out Lithium Ion batteries for the WiiMotes yet? I switched to those in my digi and went from snapping 12 pics before shutdown to well over 100.

( I don't have the Wii just yet, so I can't exactly experiment )

 

I just put some rechargeable batteries from Radioshack I'll let you know how they do!

 

I got some Energizer rechargeables with charger. the 15min charger works great! not much downtime like other chargers that take hours

 

We (Wii) have been having a blast with ours! Parties amost every weekend! A lot of our friends want one or bought one now!

Elebits is pretty fun for those that were asking about it. It can be a multiplayer game simultaniously.

Our game list so far is:

Rapala (kinda lame)
Zelda
Rayman
Elebits
Spongebob (don't ask...)

Virtual console games are:
Toejam and Earl (Again, don't ask...)
Mario Bros.

I pre-ordered WiiPlay...has it really been delayed? If so, that bites.

My daughter beat Rayman. All mini games unlocked!

This old guy still likes bowling.
